Our award winning client has fantastic opportunities for Team Leaders/Line Leaders to join their busy food production facility in Kingswinford.

Our client is a well established leader in the logistics market and is recruiting for Team Leaders/Line Leaders on a temp to perm basis. Hours of work are 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating weekly. The role is Monday to Friday but will include some weekends dependent on business needs.
The role holder will be responsible for but not limited to the following
- Effectively motivating a team
- Ensuring the final product meets clients specifications (SPI)
- Effectively maximizing production efficiency to ensure plans are met on a hourly/daily basis
- Effectively using the integrated management system
- Adhering to and promoting best practice in accordance with health, safety and quality regulations
- Ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures
- Ensuring that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external
- Ensuring GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to
- Liaising with agency controllers on a day to day basis providing feedback regarding agency workers
- Acting as a role model for best practice
- Monitoring, controlling and minimising waste
- Playing an active part in continuous improvement
- Driving own personal development through training and work based experience
- Undertaking other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post

Job Overview
We're looking for an experienced Cell Leader to join the production team at our Group's headquarters in Belton, Grantham.
Working closely with and as a key part of the Production team, the purpose of the role is to manage production and employees within the ‘Strip area’. To also assist, support and work alongside other Cell Leaders to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.
The successful individual will be confident in their supervisory skills and proficient with working with processes as well as able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
Purpose: Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership at an operational level to all operatives.
- Ensure Quality standards are adhered to, and relevant paperwork is filled out correctly and in a timely manner.
- Establish resource to ensure effective utilisation of labour.
- Organise staff, delegate tasks and deal with day-to-day staffing issues as necessary.
- Assess staff performance levels and produce annual appraisals.
- To lead, motivate and develop staff.
- Ensure employees are correctly trained in their production work and the correct paperwork has been completed.
- Attend and complete employee return to work interviews, probationary reviews, disciplinaries etc. as necessary.
- Support and encourage housekeeping objectives.
- Attend all necessary meetings.
- Assist in ad-hoc requests as required.
- Support problem solving activities
- To take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate

- Ability to capture and measure information – desirable, full training will be given
