**What you'll be doing**
You will design and build data foundations and end to end solutions for Shell to maximize value from data. You are a key person to convert Vision and Data Strategy for IT solutions and deliver them. With your knowledge you will help create data-driven thinking within the organization, not just within IT teams, but also in the wider Shell stakeholder community.
You will:
+ Communicate with both technical developers and business managers and gain respect and trust of leaders and staff
+ Actively deliver the roll-out and embedding of Data Foundation initiatives in support of the key business programs advising on the technology and using leading market standard tools
+ Coordinate the change management process, incident management and problem management process
+ Ensure traceability of requirements from Data through testing and scope changes, to training and transition
+ Drive implementation efficiency and effectiveness across the pilots and future projects to minimize cost, increase speed of implementation and maximize value delivery
**What you bring**
+ University degree in any IT discipline
+ Significant years of experience in the IT industry
+ Proven technology champion in working with relational, Data warehouses databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Experience/Knowledge in working with NoSQL databases and can create E2E pipelines
+ Experienced in building and optimizing complex queries. Good with manipulating, processing and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets
+ Proven Experience in working with any one of the data engineering technologies like ADLS, ADF, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Synapse, SAP HANA, AWS. Your experience in handling big data sets and big data technologies will be an asset
+ Proven champion with in-depth knowledge of any one of the scripting languages: Python, SQL, Spark-SQL/ PySpark
+ Very Good understanding in Data Foundation initiatives, like Modelling, Data Quality Management, Data Governance, Data Maturity Assessments and Data Strategy in support of the key business stakeholders
+ Experience in working with AGILE, KANBAN methodologies. Able to run a sprint
+ Communication Skills to engage both technical developers, Architects, and stakeholders
+ Energy Trading & Risk Expertise: Strong knowledge in short-term gas/power trading (including CCGT, wind, solar, battery) and risk modeling/management
+ Advanced Quantitative & Commodity Modeling Skills: Proficient in statistical analysis and modeling across energy commodities and meteorology
+ DevOps & CI/CD Experience: Hands-on experience in building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using scripting languages like YAML, PowerShell, and Terraform
+ Big Data & Workflow Tools: Skilled in tools such as Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, and workflow managers like Airflow, Azkaban, and Luigi
+ Technical Proficiency: Solid Python skills (NumPy, Pandas, Django) and certified in Microsoft Azure

The Role
We are looking for a Digital Trade Coordinator to join our rapidly growing E-Commerce Team supporting our International Kurt Geiger sites. You will be responsible for the Europe and Mexico markets. Reporting to the Senior Trading Manager for all Kurt Geiger markets as well as our Head of Digital Trading.
- Work with Trading Manager to drive the direction of the trade plan to achieve sales targets, working in collaboration with brand marketing to ensure messages are seasonally relevant and compelling for the customer
- Support the International CRO strategy working actively across a number of initiatives, with updates shared regularly, that utilises our suite of CRO tools to drive increased site conversion & performance
- ·Be a key point of contact for the digital Global business, collaborating with B&M, Marketing, Development and Design in order to achieve sales targets
- Effectively manage Capita off-shore relationship to ensure product uploads are timely and site standards are upheld upon new products going live
- Manage, test and optimise onsite merchandising and product rankings in order to maximise our commercial ambitions
- Optimise the search and navigation functionality to deliver greater product discovery and on-site engagement
- Work closely with the B&M departments to ensure stock levels, sell through rates, allocation, newness and replenishment are all factored into the digital trading plan
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing team to help optimise traffic performance by highlight product or category opportunities within the trading plan
- Support other digital team members as required, communicating our trading plan and insight in terms of commercial opportunities
