Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for Permanent LGV Driving Instructors/Trainers to join their expanding team based in Leconfield. Our client is delivering training for both the MOD and the HGV Skills Bootcamp and so are looking for experienced HGV Drivers/Instructors who will train the next generation of truck drivers.
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Have held a Full C+E (Class 1) LGV Licence for over 2 years with no points or endorsements li>Have a passion for teaching and the ability to successfully instruct drivers through both Categories C (Class 2) and C + E (Class 1). Previous instructing experience is desired, but this is not compulsory
- Have a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- A high level of customer service
The role entails:
This position will largely involve training for the MOD but may involve training for the HGV Skills Bootcamp
MOD
Delivering all aspects of Driver Training to the armed forces
- < i>Successfully instructing drivers through both Categories C (Class 2) and C+E (Class 1)
HGV Skills Bootcamp
Delivering all aspects of LGV training to new drivers, returning drivers and upskilling drivers, including but not limited to:
- li>Driver Training
- Tachograph Training li>Manual Handling Training li>Drivers' Hours Training
The salary for this position is up to £30,000 + bonus
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00

- Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in using online learning platforms and virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, essential for remote work.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage workload.
- Experience in curriculum development is highly desirable.

Job Title - Part Time HGV Driving Instructor
Part Time - HGV Instructors required primarily based in Brill, Buckinghamshire to train and test students for a rapidly expanding Driving Academy.
The company has been going from strength to strength and as a result are in need of experienced, committed and reliable to help train and teach Drivers in preparation for them to obtain their own licences.
- Class 1 Licence required, with good experience of driving Class 1 Vehicles.
- Part-time position - offering sporadic days, ideally the right candidate will be required for a few days cover a week.
- Must have held a HGV Licence for at least 3 years and have a clean licence.
- Typical working structure
Standard working day consists of lessons in 4 hours blocks, typically consisting of 2 blocks with an optional additional 1 block if chosen by the candidate.
Set working days are Monday - Friday, weekend work is also available if desired - shifts will be agreed upon interview talks.
Working days will be based around the booking, typically between the hours of 7.30 - 19.30 as appropriate with requirements.
Pay is 20 per hour with potential for 25 per hour for additional lessons brought on.
