A number of exciting opportunities have arisen to join our client a world leading global aerospace manufacturing organisation in Belfast as a Supply Chain Planner/Buyer . These roles are full-time 3 month temporary with immediate start. Paying (phone number removed) to (phone number removed) per annum, pro rata which is the equivalent to 21.33per hour, working 36hr week, Mon - Thurs 8.15am-4.45pm & Fri 8am-12pm (start / stops times may vary slightly).
While this is a temporary position, there may be permanent needs later in the year based on business requirements.
Purpose of the Job
To be responsible for the planning and management of all transactional elements of parts supply including internal and external customers to ensure that master schedule is achieved, maintained, and utilised assets optimised. To provide governance and visibility to Material Logistics and other management teams on schedule, capacity, and inventory
Responsibilities
- Management of internal & external supply to meet schedule.
- Vendor management to ensure OTD is met.
- Maintain operational systems to the highest levels of data accuracy.
- Parameter management to ensure optimum utilised assets.
- Provide visibility & analysis of capacity/load.
- Management of accounts payable (AP) issues.
- Harmonisation of delinquent supply with focus on risk mitigation.
- Smooth and cost-effective change management which supports with zero/minimal impact.
- Work in and support a Natural Team.
- Provide and analyse forward load and capacity plans to ensure success
Candidate Requirements

- Candidates must possess a minimum of an HNC or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CPIM, CIPS) and have a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience within Supply Chain. Lesser-qualified candidates with at least 3 years' relevant experience within Supply Chain will also be considered.
- Knowledge and experience of MRP Planning System is essential.

The Supply Chain Manager will be a pivotal member of the AGR business unit, which covers three sites in Arbroath, Ballymena and Aylesbury. Reporting directly the business unit President you will also coordinate with the VP, Global Integrated Supply Chain for Convergix Automation based in the US and Canada. In this role you will have responsibility for leading all activities relating to the supply chain function and stores management. The Supply Chain Manager will ensure effective processes are in place to manage all stages of the production flow from purchasing of raw materials to the shipment of the finished system. MAIN TASKS
- Leadership of all activities relating to the supply chain function and stores management
- Responsible for reporting on cost reduction targets to business unit president and Convergix senior management.
- Ensure supply continuity of essential materials by identifying risks and opportunities to product supply. Resolve or escalate issues as they arise.
- Work in collaboration with cross-functional groups to develop and deliver supply chain best practice for the business unit
- Analyse sales forecasts, project plans, and historical material usage
- Achieve financial objectives by working with management to prepare the materials budget and scheduled expenditure
- Develop procurement strategies to ensure cost savings and supplier performance targets are met - or exceeded
- Run tenders, evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors and what suits the business needs at the time
- Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided
- Analyse variances and initiate corrective actions with suppliers
- Facilitate import and export requirements, ensuring all relevant documentation is compliant to ensure smooth transit of any goods into and out of the company and will deliver excellent service levels to ensure on time delivery to customers.
- Manage key relationships with logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers.
- Ensure quality procedures and working practices are adhered to and constructively suggest where improvements can be made.

- Supply chain experience in a global environment an advantage
- Knowledge of UK, European and global import and export customs

- Ideally CIPS qualified

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative for our team based in Antrim.
You will be responsible for interacting with customers to provide information, support and problem resolution to inquiries and order status. You will serve as the customer's main point of contact for delivery and order status. You will maintain proactive communication and acts on customer inquiries in an efficient and timely manner. You will build strong partnerships internally with production, planning, logistics and business functions to identify and drive alternatives to deliver the customer order requirements.
The ideal candidate for this role will be friendly, patient, and able to work well under pressure.
**General Responsibilities**
+ Serves as customers main point of contact related to delivery and order status for assigned customer portfolio.
+ Provide guidance to customers about quantities on stock, required time to produce and deliver. Review customer requests related to production leadtime, assess transportation mode and service to be used based on customer coverage.
+ Reviews daily customer demand and validates deviations, also subject to specific customer needs.
+ Ensures proactive internal notification of customer delivery risk following Customer Impact Alert process as well as sending a proactive external notification to customers on supply risk minimum 1 week prior to the customer order schedule date.
+ Review regularly and assist in the timely resolution of customer concerns/ claims/ cares on the portals related to the delivery process.
+ Executes manual order entry process withing required timeline and accuracy.
+ Communicates with customers in the event of inventory opportunities of supplying orders at an earlier time.
+ Participates in timely reviews and investigations of root cause for customer short payments.
+ Coordinate with planning and /or logistics teams to ensure execution of shipments, per customer needs / requests and follow up with customer needed information.
+ Coordinate with customers to determine shipping method.
**Experience / Qualifications**
+ A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
+ Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
+ Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
+ Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
