Position Details:

  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Salary: 14.35 per hour
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: 26th September 2025 (potential for extension)
  • Location: Holborn, London (just a 6-minute walk from Holborn train station)
  • Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm
  • Dress Code: Smart, professional attire

What You'll Do:
As our Receptionist, you will be the friendly face and voice of our Estates Division. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming Visitors: Greet and assist students, staff, and guests with a warm smile.
  • Administrative Support: Perform a range of clerical tasks such as photocopying, note-taking, and document management.
  • Meeting Coordination: Ensure meeting rooms are tidy and well-equipped, and provide refreshments for senior staff and guests.
  • Communication Hub: Handle telephone duties and respond courteously to queries from various stakeholders.
  • Post and Stationery Management: Distribute daily post and maintain appropriate stationery levels, keeping everything organised using Excel.
  • Office Upkeep: Ensure the reception area, kitchen, and front-of-house are tidy and welcoming.
