What you will get up to as a Van Delivery Driver:
- You'll start your day loading and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle
- Once your vehicle is loaded, you'll be busy collecting and delivering parcels in specific geographical areas in and around Fareham, delivering in excess of 40-60 parcels per day.
- Driving a 3.5t long wheel based van and using a pre routed navigation system to complete your drops
What we need from you for this Van Delivery Driver role:
- A clean full UK driving license is essential! (6 points or less will be considered).
- It is important that you're able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg
- Previous experience driving a 3.5t vehicle
- You must have held your UK driving licence for a minimum of 1 year for this role

As a van driver, you will have the opportunity to work through our agency, representing a highly reputable retail company.
The role primarily involves store deliveries, not home deliveries, providing a consistent workload throughout the year. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and weekend working is essential. We offer paid induction training to ensure your success in the role.
The pay rates for the role of van driver are as follows:
Days 06:00 to 22:00 - £12.86
Nights 22:00 to 06:00 - £5.43
Overtime Days after 40hrs - 6.72
Overtime Nights after 40hrs - 0.06
Bank Holiday Days - 5.72
Bank Holiday Nights - 0.86
We are delighted to offer shifts with start times between 6am and 10am. Ideal candidate would be flexible to work weekends. We can accommodate rotas working Sundays with Saturday as one of your rest days, working Saturdays with Sunday as one of your rest days or working both weekend days with rest days mid week. The more flexible you are, the more work there is.
Work is available over 7 days, however, a weekend rota is essential.

Your Time at Work
As a Van driver, the work will involve store deliveries, customer collections, replenishment runs and home deliveries throughout the UK. You will be required to work between South Elmsall and Redhouse, Doncaster. You will be fully competent in driving vehicles to the highest of standards providing a first class service to all customers whilst working within the company's procedures and guidelines, to ensure the smooth flow of the operation and customer expectations are met. This assignment is short term to cover sale periods, however there may be further opportunities available. Manual Handling is involved but each item will be no more than 15kg.
If you are successful in your interview stage you will be required to complete a site assessment which will involve:

- Vehicle Manoeuvre (usually a reverse onto bay)
- You may be required to do a drug & alcohol test
