We are recruiting for a Contract Manager on behalf of one of the UK’s leading companies in outdoor play and fitness areas whose main activity is the development, production and sale of playgrounds, outdoor sports and fitness facilities including installation and servicing.
On offer is a salary of up to £57,000, a bonus scheme that could pay up to an additional £,000, a company vehicle (currently a pickup), 5 weeks holiday, a private healthcare package that includes dental, a company pension scheme into which the company contributes 4.5% and the employee 3.5% and a health cashback plan.
As the Contract Manager you will be responsible for an area that includes Hampshire, Surrey, parts of Berkshire, West Sussex and South Buckinghamshire as well as parts of Great London (Hounslow, Ealing, Camden, Haringey, Sutton, Merton, Richmond upon Thames, Kingston Upon Thames, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kingston and Chelsea, Westminster, City of London, Islington and Hackney).
As the Contract Manager you will be responsible for:
Ensuring all projects are planned properly prior to commencement.Ensuring quality installation from start to finish.Looking at areas within projects that give scope for margin enhancement and managing costs.Being the point of contact for clients throughout the project from prestart meetings through to completed site handover.Working closely with the Project Coordinators who provide back-office support for your role.Carrying out prestart meetings for all projects, having regular involvement in handover meetings and providing regular updates to both clients and Project Coordinators.Liaising with sub-contracted installers including making regular site visits during the build phase to monitor progress against plan.Ensuring all deliveries are monitored to meet planned start dates and communicating any issues immediately.Ensuring all issues or progress visits are photographed and site visit reports completed and forwarded to both clients and the assigned Project Coordinator within 24 hours.Developing existing and looking to nurture sub-contractor relationships to ensure all projects can be planned and completed efficiently as the business continues to grow.RequirementsTo be considered as the Contract Manager you:

Reporting to Head of Vendor Management, you will play a key part in the management of vendor and affiliate relationships to ensure efficient and effective operations in line with company policies. You will evaluate and monitor vendor and affiliate performance, adherence to contracts, cost, and risk.
The successful candidate will have global responsibilities and will work across multiple areas within Ratings, . with regular interaction with senior leaders in the Division and Corporate Functions. You will also develop a broad knowledge and skill set in managing risk and controls.
**Responsibilities**
**Lead the oversight of SPGI Digital Solutions as an affiliate providing critical Information, Communication & Technology services**
+ Develop and monitor an affiliate contract with Digital Solutions, including Service Level Agreements.
+ Oversee the Affiliate Risk Assessment, including the Vendor Compliance Controls Assessment and implement solutions to any issues identified.
+ Organise and run the Digital Solutions oversight meeting and validate that Engagement Owner-level oversight meetings are occurring.
+ Ensure Digital Solutions is providing relevant and timely data and information to Engagement Owners and Ratings' management.
+ Liaise with Digital Solutions for risk and control management activities, including but not limited to Internal Audit findings, controls testing, risk management and responding to regulators.
+ Connect key stakeholders, activities and projects across In-Business Controls, Ratings Technology and Digital Solutions.
**Lead and support broader vendor / affiliate oversight activities, with a particular focus on technology & data**
+ Implement and manage affiliate governance measures for potential new affiliate engagements, as needed, such as SPGI Enterprise Data Organization and Kensho, for example.
+ Maintain governance over existing Ratings' affiliates, including, for example, conducting risk re-certifications, updating contracts and conducting monitoring, where needed.
+ Ensure relevant affiliate due diligence is in place for existing intercompany data providers, such as Market Intelligence and Commodity Insights.
**Lead continuous improvement projects and support management reporting**
+ Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and efficiency in processes and controls related to vendors and affiliates.
+ Support reviews and exams by providing necessary information and implementing Management Action Plans (MAPs), demonstrating adaptability and leadership in managing change.
+ Provide accurate and insightful reporting to various oversight committees, including Ratings' Boards.

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $175,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

Key job responsibilities
Create and implement the overall business strategy for their vendors' business including managing vendor negotiations and peak periods.
Act as the u2018business owneru2019 for their vendors' business, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business and P&L, this entails owning forecasting, monitoring and reporting on the business
Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments
Manage strategic programs and relationships with leading publishers to create a great customer experience and help the books business and publishers grow
Think backwards from the customer means thinking across reading/listening formats: physical books, kindle, Audible
Work closely with the marketing, supply chain and product management teams within Books and Amazon to align all efforts and deliver results
The successful candidates will have exceptional project management, communication and analytic skills and big ideas on how to create great customer experiences. They will be detail-oriented, organized and capable of handling multiple projects at once, working to tight deadlines, dealing with multiple teams and corresponding with publishers. The right candidate will be ambitious and keen to move into a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with business analysis and P&L management

Scope of RoleWe are looking for a systematic person to help with IT Controls, including organising IT Contracts, Costs and help with important ISD controls to join our team. You will be someone who can ensure the accuracy and compliance of contracts, manage costs, supporting and maintaining financial integrity, Security and regulatory compliance.
Reporting to our Global Head of IT in our London HQ, you will have the benefit or a hybrid work schedule.
As an IT Vendor Risk & Financial Management Analyst , you will:Contract Management:
- Organise and agree third party vendors security contact details of current and new contracts for IT Third party vetting process.
- Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Review and add metal data to help maintain our contract database.
- Monitor contract deadlines, renewals, and termination dates, and coordinate with relevant departments.
Cost & Administration:
- Monitor project budgets and costs to ensure adherence to financial constraints and company policies.
- Project administration in costs, contract management, vendor management including RFI & RFP.
- Review and analyse cost reports, forecasts, and budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support input and the preparation of IT financial budgets and reports.
- Reconcile discrepancies in contracted services vs services required in use, invoicing, and payment processes with IT, vendors and the finance team.
- Support the termination of IT contracted services that are not required.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Support gathering of our requirements for IT DRBCP services and SLA requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards related to contracts and costs.
- Support creation of procurement and contract framework and procedures.
- Identify potential risks associated with contracts and propose mitigation strategies.
Communication and Coordination:
- Guide communication between several business departments (e.g., legal, finance) to ensure smooth contract execution and cost management.
- Provide support and training to staff on contract management procedures/ cost control measures.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain organised and accurate records of all contracts, cost reports, and related documents.
- Prepare regular reports on contract status, IT Controls, financial performance, and cost variances for management review.
- Support audits and provide documentation.
Requirements
You will have:- At least 2+ years of experience helping with IT contract administration, cost management, or a similar role.
- Experience with cost management practices.
- Experience working in with common IT Controls
- Professional certification in contract management (e.g., Certified Professional Contracts Manager - CPCM) or related field.
