Hourly Lecturer – Content Creation
Location: London
Salary: £25 - £39 per teaching hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Part time
SAE is part of AD Education, which is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, language training, student recruitment and workforce education. SAE London is looking for knowledgeable and engaging educators to teach on our Content Creation degree modules in SAE Higher Education programmes under the guidance of the Academic and Programme Managers. The ability to deliver across a number of modules at all levels is desirable.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of the modules you are timetabled to facilitate, including developing and updating learning objects to be shared with students.
- Facilitating learning through a variety of methods.
- Planning students’ learning experience through lesson plans and deliverable course material.
- Timely marking of assessments, providing useful and on-going feedback to students.
- Pro-active involvement in campus events which promote SAE and our programmes.
Essential Criteria:
- Honours degree in a related field or significant relevant industry experience and, either PG Cert Education/HEA Membership,
- Ability to create and build on industry links.
- Experience in Content Creation and relevant practices in the field of marketing, graphic design, web development, social media campaigns.
- Concept development, project management and production skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
- Must have rights to live and work in the UK.
Desirable Criteria:
- Higher Education teaching experience, within the field of education, including the creation of session plans and preparation of materials.
- Experience in project-based learning, using technology in learning, including VLE and other similar forms of facilitating learning.

The role
As a Video Production Manager, your focus will be on post-production management. You should have a solid understanding of the video editing process and be confident in directing and overseeing a remote team of editors, providing creative direction and maintaining quality control across multiple projects.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you will have significant creative influence—more than in a traditional Production Manager role. While you’ll be leading the post-production team, this is an independent position best suited to someone who prefers to manage and refine content rather than be involved in the whole production process.
To Qualify.
You should be a Creative Production Manager / Production Lead / Creative Lead / Lead Video Editor / Video Editor / Video Producer / Creative Editor / Post Production Specialist .

- Basic knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid, After Effects)
- A strong track record of success in video production or post-production
- Experience managing remote, diverse teams

What you'll be doing…
As Video Producer you'll be responsible for producing compelling, entertaining and inspiring short-form documentaries that feature on our hit series, working with a wide range of contributors.
You'll be producing Shooting Scripts for every green-lit story in your series, being creative with the content; making sure each film has a clear narrative and climax, creating edit scripts and working alongside an editor to create the best version of the film, working on edit scripts and fact-checking the final films and helping to manage our external Videographers.
You'll be managing talent and being across duty of care protocols and pitching in new ideas that will help keep our series fresh and exciting, helping to ensure the team hit deadlines and production targets, and helping to write story descriptions/articles that accompany each video.
