Key Responsibilities
- Craft both short-form and long-form edits
- Collaborate closely with the team to shape content from concept through to final delivery
- Source music, b-roll, and archival footage
- Edit internal reels, sizzles, or social snippets
- Ensure brand consistency and maintain a high standard of creative quality
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio/reel must)
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
- Knowledge of colour correction, and audio mixing
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with remote editing tools such as LucidLink
Salary & Benefits

Job Description
We are looking for a talented all rounder that will be able to work with a team to produce, shoot and edit headline grabbing interviews as well as live events. This will be for shows across our brands at the Spectator and UnHerd.
The successful candidate should have hands on experience on all these fronts as well as have a strong news-sense, with ideas on how to get the most out of our content. In this role you will also be primarily responsible for video and audio editing as well as operating our studio facilities.
As a busy newsroom our content is often brought together with short notice as we react to live events. The successful candidate will have to be able to adapt to these changing deadlines and on occasion be able to deliver content outside of working hours and on weekends when necessary.
Please note this role is full-time office based in Westminster, London. Salary is dependent on experience.
Requirements
- You must have a deep technical knowledge of how to technically produce interviews, strong hands on experience with high end camera and editing hardware and an understanding of the YouTube ecosystem and what makes a compelling piece of content.
- Expert proficiency with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite essential, experience with vMix and DaVinci is highly desirable
- A go-getting problem solver that works well under pressure to deliver a high quality product
- Intimate knowledge camera, audio and editing hardware
- A flair for creating stand out video content
- Knowledge of SEO and how to package clips
- An understanding of how to promote video content
- A strong news sense and an understanding of where UnHerd fits into the media landscape.
- Ability to work independently and possess excellent people skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel if needed

The role
As a Video Production Manager, your focus will be on post-production management. You should have a solid understanding of the video editing process and be confident in directing and overseeing a remote team of editors, providing creative direction and maintaining quality control across multiple projects.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you will have significant creative influence—more than in a traditional Production Manager role. While you’ll be leading the post-production team, this is an independent position best suited to someone who prefers to manage and refine content rather than be involved in the whole production process.
To Qualify.
You should be a Creative Production Manager / Production Lead / Creative Lead / Lead Video Editor / Video Editor / Video Producer / Creative Editor / Post Production Specialist .
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Basic knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid, After Effects)
- A strong track record of success in video production or post-production

We are looking to hire a Production Coordinator to join our busy and fast-paced Production team, working to provide a range of production coordination services on all aspects of the audio-visual content produced by us in house.
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in TV, streaming, film or Broadcast production, or equivalent
- Good knowledge of multi-camera, single camera and live relay / broadcast production processes, technology and formats, or willingness to learn
