About the role
We are looking for a CAD Technician to fully support the Global Store Design team. It is an integral role for the day to day operating of the Global Store Design team at Charlotte Tilbury. Supporting the team with technical drawings, sketch up models and setting standards. Supporting the Head of Global Store Design by being an integral part in the development of the department and pushing the brand forward.
As a Global CAD Technician you will
- You will be working alongside the Head of Global store design to produce and maintain technical standards for the global store design fixtures and fittings.
- Re-enforce Charlotte Tilbury’s brand codes across all Store Design elements through the delivery of plans, elevations and details in both Vectorworks and sketch up.
- You need to be able to work with external contractors to review and red line drawings ensuring the Charlotte Tilbury brand codes are adhered to at all times.
- Oversee and understand architectural, mechanical and structural components.
- Control the preparation of design packs for internal and external approval.
- Understand and interpret local building codes, integrating comprehensive design solutions compliant with local and regional regulations across projects.
- Identify technically challenging construction details and develop solutions with department managers, suppliers and technical support
- Overview and approve shop drawings for design integrity and safety standards
- Identify and propose solutions to resolve construction issues that can impact design integrity.

About you
- Architecture or Interior Design degree
- Must have the following technical proficiency - 3D design in Sketchup and 2D design in Vectorworks.
- The ability to meet deadlines set by the head of store design
- Work with Marketing, Creative Agency, VM, Digital, Tech, sustainability and regions to ensure the needs of each department are met through the technical development of fixtures
- Exceptional eye for detail and construction knowledge
- Current working knowledge of building and health and safety codes and compliance issues
- Team player and be willing to learn and develop
- Focused on quality and implementation processes. Store Design is an extension of our products, high quality with exceptional standards across all executions

+ Implement and manage, with the support of the Store Manager, the brand visual guidelines, ensuring market specific direction is considered.
+ Monitor and support the Store Manager and department managers with the money mapping of VM presentation and react accordingly.
+ Work in collaboration with the Area VM and Store Manager to map the floor space and location of the collections looking at the store's option counts of new and existing product lines.
+ Support with the pre planning delivery and execution of SALE to market guideline mapping sales plan with Area VM and Store Manager.
+ Maintain strong product knowledge regarding merchandise in order VM correctly and to communicate to customers for more effective selling.
+ Support the Store Manager by ensuring the sales team delivers consistent and accurate replenishment of product onto the sales floor.
+ Support and deliver for the Store Manager in training the store team on visual execution and standards.
