Reporting to : Merchandiser
Operating Ratio : 60/40 Current / Future
Key Objective : Working alongside the Merchandiser to ensure all product is in the right stores to enable achieving departmental sales, markdown, stock, intake and profit plans. Substitute for the Merchandiser in their absence
Key Responsibilities
Planning
  • With the Merchandiser and Buyer review previous season and capture lessons learned
  • Alongside the Merchandiser and Buyer create the strategy for the department and present
  • With guidance from the Merchandiser review the SMT plan at Buyer Group/Season annually and apply plan at Category/Season level to meet the Buyer Group/Season plan
  • Quarterly plan at Category/Season level with the Merchandiser and Buyer to submit a plan on the System that reflects the best possible mix of product to deliver the KPI's
  • Ensure that the Buy matches the plan Buy
  • Take ownership of the quarterly range plan at Store level in conjunction with the Merchandiser and Buyer
  • Attend selection meetings with the Merchandiser, Buyer and suppliers
  • Maintaining Line Cards on core styles and taking appropriate actions

Trading
  • Review weekly trading performance and achieved KPI's, identifying Issues and the course of action in preparation for the weekly trading meetings
  • Propose and agree actions to recover risk and maximise opportunities with the Merchandiser and Buyer at category and line level.
  • Monthly - Capture all agreed actions in the monthly forecast reviews for relevant categories or departments owned
  • Attend monthly WSSI meetings with your Merchandiser and Merchandise Manager to gain approval : Incorporating
    • Forecasting any sales variance to plan
    • Creation of OTB's
    • Management of commitments - On time delivery, rebuys cancellations
    • Markdown proposals
  • Manage the range plan in Season reflecting any changes
  • Ownership of the performance of non-organic stores
  • Manage Intake at category and line level in conjunction with the team
  • Responsibility for concept stores

Teamwork
  • Reporting to the Merchandiser
  • Working with the Merchandise Team
  • Working with the Buyer
  • Develop relationships as appropriate with Store Operations, Visuals, Marketing DC, etc

Key Deliverables - Year 1
  • Attend all systems courses to enable full utilisation of the System
  • Adhere to the Merchandise Calendar delivery plans and forecasts as required
  • Achieve company Sales, Margins and stock plans

Responsibilities

• Prioritize large volumes of projects across thousands of retail doors, most with tight deadlines and extreme complexity, with guidance from the Merchandising Lead.

• Build highly detailed execution plans for a variety of initiatives across multiple product lines.

• Review instructions and execution for multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.

• Understand display fixture production process and installation implementation processes to properly prepare workback schedules and deliverables to share cross functionally both internally and externally.

• Critical to understand various retailer 3rd party labor operations to drive best in class execution.

• Track field execution, including progress and results, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders.

• Analyze demo data, flag potential roadblocks and work with external partners to ensure in store demo compliance.

• Work closely with the Merchandising Lead to align on the strategy and to ensure all 3rd party labor projects are to budget.


Minimum Qualifications

• Full French proficiency

• 5+ years of professional experience on either the brand side of retail in-store merchandising or the vendor side of retail in-store merchandising.

• 5+ years of project management experience

• 3+ years of third-party labor management experience

• Proven ability to understand the unique operating conditions within each retailer and how that impacts the planning and executing of the initiatives for all product lines.

• Must have experience sharing program / project updates across broad teams and organizations

• Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail with ability to track and articulate the intricacies of complex fixture installations.

• Experience managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.

• Must have experience partnering with external stakeholders.

• Excellent at finding the root cause of issues or gathering the necessary cross-functional members to find that cause or solution to an issue.

• Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and flexible.

• Experience with navigating various organizational environments where culture and structure vary.

• Excellent communicator, superb verbal, and written communication.

• Experience with Google G suite and Microsoft suite of software applications.


Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in planning large-scale executions and installations from concept stage through prototype and production stages.

About the role

We are looking for a CAD Technician to fully support the Global Store Design team. It is an integral role for the day to day operating of the Global Store Design team at Charlotte Tilbury. Supporting the team with technical drawings, sketch up models and setting standards. As a Global CAD Technician you will

  • You will be working alongside the Head of Global store design to produce and maintain technical standards for the global store design fixtures and fittings.
  • Re-enforce Charlotte Tilbury’s brand codes across all Store Design elements through the delivery of plans, elevations and details in both Vectorworks and sketch up.
  • You need to be able to work with external contractors to review and red line drawings ensuring the Charlotte Tilbury brand codes are adhered to at all times.
  • Oversee and understand architectural, mechanical and structural components.
  • Control the preparation of design packs for internal and external approval.
  • Understand and interpret local building codes, integrating comprehensive design solutions compliant with local and regional regulations across projects.
  • Identify technically challenging construction details and develop solutions with department managers, suppliers and technical support
  • Overview and approve shop drawings for design integrity and safety standards
  • Identify and propose solutions to resolve construction issues that can impact design integrity.

About you

  • Architecture or Interior Design degree
  • Must have the following technical proficiency - 3D design in Sketchup and 2D design in Vectorworks.
  • The ability to meet deadlines set by the head of store design
  • Work with Marketing, Creative Agency, VM, Digital, Tech, sustainability and regions to ensure the needs of each department are met through the technical development of fixtures
  • Exceptional eye for detail and construction knowledge
  • Current working knowledge of building and health and safety codes and compliance issues
