- Day Shift: 7:30am – 5:30pm (1-hour break included)
- Mid Shift: 12:00pm – 10:00pm (1-hour break included)
Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operatives to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse by supporting all aspects of goods handling, stock management, and order preparation. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and put away deliveries accurately
- Carry out stock rotation, date checks, and inventory counts
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using warehouse systems and scanners
- Assist cash & carry customers with billing and service
- Load vans and support dispatch operations
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet trucks (training provided if needed)
- Handle heavy lifting and materials safely (up to 50 lbs / 25 kg)
- Support shipping & receiving operations, ensuring accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing goods
- Maintain organisation in the warehouse, ensuring correct storage and safe stacking of products
- Conduct basic equipment checks and report any faults or hazards
- Follow food safety, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve workflow and efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 30 hours per week availability
- Must pass a DBS check
- Physically fit and able to handle regular lifting and manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take responsibility for tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player with the ability to work independently when required
Preferred (not essential):
- Forklift licence
- Food Safety Certificate
- Driving licence
- Previous warehouse experience (distribution or logistics)
- Basic computer skills (stock systems / scanning equipment)

As a Warehouse Operative, you will support with warehousing, order management, fulfilment, and packing activities for all retail functions of The Warner Bros. Studio Tour. Our warehouse is dedicated to distributing merchandise for our Studio Tour at Leavesden, Platform 9¾ stores, and our ecommerce operation at our online Harry Potter Shop ( ), ensuring high-level customer service for witches, wizards, and muggles alike!

**Your Role Accountabilities.**
+ Receive, check, and accept deliveries to our warehouse, helping to keep records of incoming orders.
+ Maintain relevant paperwork as orders are dispatched to stores and customers.
+ Ensure stock is put away and replenished in accordance with company guidelines. This could include using machinery to put orders away (at height).
+ Order picking for each of our businesses. This could include picking orders for stores, or individual customer orders for our ecommerce business.
+ Packing orders for our online store. This includes making sure the correct products have been selected and sent, adding personalization (where needed), and wrapping purchases to a high standard.
+ Feeding back any issues with orders or stock levels to colleagues and our Management Team, to make sure a quality service is provided to our customers.
+ Keeping our warehouse clean, tidy, and organized, and shrinkage to a minimum level.
+ Checking machinery and vehicles and reporting any defects or issues as soon as possible.
+ Delivering stock to our London, Leavesden sites.
**Qualifications & Experience.**
+ Full manual driving licence
+ Able to work at heights of up to 10m, (yearly safety training will include needing to abseil from that height).
+ This role is physically demanding and requires that you be able to lift, carry and move boxes.
+ Effective, confident communicator.
+ Commercial acumen, e.g. understanding of peak seasons.
+ Works as part of a team with a flexible approach.
+ Able to prioritise work and use own initiative.
+ IT skills.
**Working Pattern.**
+ 40-hour working week, in a shift pattern from Monday to Sunday, with varying start and finish times.
+ You will be required to work 1 in every 4 weekends, however this is subject to change during peak times.
+ No night work required.
Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
