As a Warehouse Operative/Administrator you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our catering and goods arrive with our train clients on time, in-line with various scheduling requirements.
What’s on offer:
- Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour (Day Shift), £3.62 per hour (Night Shift)
- Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 days per week (Flexibility Required)
- Shifts: You must be fully flexible between the hours of 07:00am-23:00pm (12.21 per hour) or night shifts only between the hours of 23:00pm-06:30am ( 3.62 per hour)

- Temp to Perm (performance-based)
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Duties:
- Perform regular stock counts and cycle checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Support inbound and outbound stock movements.
Packing Duties:
- Pack goods according to customer specifications.
- Handle goods with care to prevent damage.
- Assist with loading and unloading as required.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations (preferred).
- Basic IT skills (Excel, WMS, handheld scanners).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift/move items safely.

About the role
As a warehouse Operative and Shunter, you will be:
- Be based at our depot in Cleland
- Load and unload Double deck, rigid and vans
- Have an understand of warehouse operations and bays
- Have experience in loading and unloading pallets
- Understand safety loading procedures
- Use scanner to scan freight in and out of warehouse and to vehicles.
- Follow loading manifests
- Keep warehouse free from clutter and dirt
- Shunt vehicles across yard and to and from warehouse to for loading/unloading
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must have full FLT licence – refresher training will be giving
- Warehouse Experience is essential
- Knowledge of pallets and loading and unloading weight limits etc
- Be able to work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Fit, hardworking and self-motivated but also excellent team player
- Polite, confident and presentable.
- Shunting experience is desirable, however full training will be given.
