About the role

As a warehouse Operative and Shunter, you will be:

• Be based at our depot in Cleland
• Load and unload Double deck, rigid and vans
• Have an understand of warehouse operations and bays
• Have experience in loading and unloading pallets
• Understand safety loading procedures
• Use scanner to scan freight in and out of warehouse and to vehicles.
• Follow loading manifests
• Keep warehouse free from clutter and dirt
• Shunt vehicles across yard and to and from warehouse to for loading/unloading

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Must have full FLT licence – refresher training will be giving
• Warehouse Experience is essential
• Knowledge of pallets and loading and unloading weight limits etc
• Be able to work efficiently to meet deadlines
• Fit, hardworking and self-motivated but also excellent team player
• Polite, confident and presentable.
• Shunting experience is desirable, however full training will be given.
