Optime Group are excited to be recruiting for Warehouse Loaders to join a well-respected and successful client in Polar Park.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to additional security checks required for this role, successful applicants MUST have lived in the UK for the last 5 years, with 3 years full UK history.
What’s on offer:
- Rate of Pay: £12.86 per hour
- Shifts available: Between 8 - 12 hours (depending on the requirement)
- Shift Pattern: 4 ON / 2 OFF
- Weekly Pay (every Friday)

Key Duties:
- Loading the trollies which can be up to 30KG.
- Physical tasks include check cages, high lifts, fork lifts, stocking up pushing, pulling, lifting 20kg-30kg (linens/toiletries).
- Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Trolley Inspection : Carefully check each trolley and count items, ensuring there are no foreign objects.
- Documentation : Record item numbers, sign off on the checklist, and note your name as part of the verification.
- Security checking of the trollies and reporting any findings as per your training.
Shifts:
The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 4 on 2 off rolling rota and you will need to be fully flexible with the days and hours you can work. This could be subject to change!

Requirements:
- Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card.

- 5 Year Work Reference History.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following the interview in line with CAA requirements.

Responsible for accurate receiving, loading, storing and executing shipment orders. Knows and understands their responsibility in a contingency plan or crisis situation. Facility / Equipment: Maintains equipment and ensures warehouse areas are neat, clean of debris and in an orderly fashion. Operates equipment safely and efficiently. Complies with all local, OSHA and Expeditors' standards.
Inventory: Keeps accurate records and reports. Assists in physical inventories and cycle counts. May key inventory adjustments.

**Your Role Accountabilities.**
+ Receive, check, and accept deliveries to our warehouse, helping to keep records of incoming orders.
+ Maintain relevant paperwork as orders are dispatched to stores and customers.
+ Ensure stock is put away and replenished in accordance with company guidelines. This could include using machinery to put orders away (at height).
+ Order picking for each of our businesses. This could include picking orders for stores, or individual customer orders for our ecommerce business.
+ Packing orders for our online store. This includes making sure the correct products have been selected and sent, adding personalization (where needed), and wrapping purchases to a high standard.

**Qualifications & Experience.**
+ Full manual driving licence
+ Able to work at heights of up to 10m, (yearly safety training will include needing to abseil from that height).
+ This role is physically demanding and requires that you be able to lift, carry and move boxes.
+ Effective, confident communicator.
+ Commercial acumen, e.g. understanding of peak seasons.
+ Works as part of a team with a flexible approach.
+ Able to prioritise work and use own initiative.

**Working Pattern.**
+ 40-hour working week, in a shift pattern from Monday to Sunday, with varying start and finish times.
+ You will be required to work 1 in every 4 weekends, however this is subject to change during peak times.
+ No night work required.
