Main Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operatives/ Handballer:

• Unloading and loading within the warehouse in a safe working manner
• Ensure all working areas are kept clean and safe
• Ensure the workplace is maintained in a safe condition without significant risks to health and the environment
• Picking and packing orders.
• Other duties may be required.

As a Warehouse Operatives, you will undertake all general warehouse activities, including unloading and loading of vehicles, put away and of goods.

Working hours : Monday- Friday: 08:00am -16:30pm

Payrate 12.60 / h

The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within a chilled warehouse environment , including materials handling, stocking, and ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Working on a production line or using a hand held scanner to pick goods
• Handle materials with care during loading, unloading, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Assist in stocking shelves and organising products for easy access.

• Participate in training sessions related to warehouse operations, safety protocols, and equipment usage.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

• Follow all company procedures, policies, and safety guidelines .

• Work as part of a team to meet daily operational targets.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.

• Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting and movement of goods.

• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure.

• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
