Mammographer Technologist - Relocation to Bermuda

The successful candidate will be required to relocate to Bermuda; relocation costs will be covered by client.
Our client is seeking a Mammographer Technologist to join their team and be responsible for acquiring the best possible diagnostic and screening images whilst maintaining the highest standard of patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients and accurately obtaining their clinical history in order to assist the radiologist in determining appropriate radiographic procedures.
- Performing screening and diagnostic radiographic examinations (mammograms and bone density scans) on patients to produce high-quality images whilst adhering to the ALARA principle.
- Accurately recording imaging identification and patient documentation using the PACS and RIS systems whilst observing protocols to ensure compliance with data protection and patient confidentiality.
- Preparing the biopsy equipment and assisting the radiologist in image guided biopsies.
- Observing and maintaining contact with patients during their stay in the department and providing support according to their needs.
- Participating in the Reject/Repeat Analysis and Quality Control programs and ensuring that any equipment malfunctions or faults are reported.
- Understanding and observing health and safety at work and welfare issues, including ionising radiation regulations, to protect themselves and others.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent diploma in Radiologic Technology
- A minimum of three years previous experience
- Current professional registration

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with patients, clinical staff, other employees and medical staff from other facilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Computer competency.
