Otis is growing and is looking for Lift Repair Engineer to cover the London region within the North and South Circular. You will ensure the safety of passengers by safely maintaining a portfolio of lifts and escalator units.
**On a typical day you will:**
+ be responsible for planned repair work across a territory, ranging from minor to major repairs and small modifications to larger refurbs
+ work on a mixture of contractual repairs and quoted repair work
+ liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship
**What you will need to be successful.**
+ Hold an NVQ level 3 in Escalator service, maintenance, or repair.
+ Hold a driver's license and within 1 hour commute of London
+ You have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
+ You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
+ You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority
+ You are comfortable communicating to others
+ You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team
+ You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

**To be successful in this role you will:**
+ Have experience within the lift and escalator construction and installation industry.
+ Have experience working on high-rise elevator installation projects.
+ Have knowledge of elevator and escalator safe systems of work, industry standards and regulations.
+ Hold a NEBOSH Diploma, Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent qualification.
+ Hold an environmental qualification such as IEMA (desirable).
+ Be qualified as an ISO Auditor.
+ Have experience undertaking audits, incident investigations and corrective action management.
+ Have knowledge of Otis Cardinal Rules and EH&S processes.
+ Be IT literate with good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
+ Be able to produce reports, training materials and present findings effectively.
+ Possess strong communication, relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ Have a proactive, flexible and hands-on approach within a fast-paced operational environment.

+ 40 Meetings with clients per month this is to include new & existing clients
+ Upsell current service contracts to achieve significant improved margin

+ Regular client review meetings (Teams and Face to face) where contractually obliged and with other customers to enhance relationship and service
+ Work with credit contract teams and operational leads to manage disputed debt
+ 60 recoveries per annum, with target average billing value of +£1,900 per lift with an annual target of £114K
+ Sell 120 x Annual OTIS ONE & Subscriptions.
+ Responsible for T result for SBU circa £1M per annum.
**What you will need to be successful:**
+ You have a business or technical degree or have completed training as a technician or technical business administrator, and 3 years of prior work experience.
+ You have initial experience in the sale of technical service agreements requiring consultation.
+ You have a strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills.
+ You are characterised by a high level of commitment and reliability towards your customers.
+ You are target focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organisation
