Your Role
By joining the Stress Engineering team at Safran Seats you will be joining at team with real, fast paced development, for both you and the products and projects you will be working on. Unlike some roles across Aerospace, at Safran Seats you will see your designs and projects become reality as the project lifecycle of First and Business Class aircraft seating is constantly developed and refreshed. This is because we work directly with the Airlines to bring cutting edge, state of the art aircraft interiors to life. You will be using your Engineering core skills daily, from hand calculations to building and running FEA models of design iterations to prove and certify these impressive products. As we have roles at multiple levels don't be put off if you don't tick every box, for Senior and Lead roles we would be looking for Dynamic simulation skills but if you just have experience in Static simulation we still have roles for you.

* The ability to hand calculate and work through concepts
* FEA experience with linear/non-linear implicit FE analysis and/or multi-body dynamic analysis and/or non-linear explicit FE analysis
* Experience with Solvers and other software packages like; Altair Radioss, HyperCrash, HyperMesh, HyperView, OptiStruct, MSC Nastran, SimSolid, MotionSolve
* Analysing structures made with high performance steels, corrosion resistant steels, aluminium and/or composite materials of both monolithic and sandwich panel construction.

Your role: As an Assembly Fitter, you'll play a critical role in our MRO operations, assembling and testing single‑aisle family landing gears. You'll work as part of a diverse team to complete the required quantity of shipsets per week to meet our customer's expectations.
Responsibilities- Assemble and test Airbus Single Aisle family nose and forestay, main gears and sidestays, ensuring high quality standards.
- Continuously improve the quality and efficiency of both the assembly and testing processes.
- Deliver a product in line with quality, cost and delivery objectives.
- Engineering Apprenticeship (preferably gained within the aerospace or manufacturing sector) or a Level 3 NVQ.

Your Role
Play a key part in ensuring seamless import/ export processes, driving accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across a dynamic and growing business.
This 15 Month FTC role offers the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in customs, trade compliance, and cross-border supply chain coordination while working with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare import files and issue clearance instructions to agents in line with transport bookings and delivery deadlines
- Support IPR processes, including compiling the quarterly Bill of Discharge
- Coordinate with couriers to manage pickups/deliveries and ensure correct documentation is issued on time
- Maintain and archive all import/export documentation accurately and compliantly
- Reconcile MSS data against the import log to ensure data accuracy
- Identify discrepancies and submit post-entry amendments where required
- Produce and issue documentation for tooling transfers (permanent import/export) across international sister sites

Actuation Systems in Wolverhampton is seeking a Fitter Tester to join an established Aftermarket manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Assembling/disassembling aircraft electrical and hydraulic actuators and flight controls per supplied drawings and process instructions. This includes working Military legacy products, collaborating closely with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to support product release and delivery.
This is a shift-based role with some overtime required. Full training and support will be provided.

This role attracts a shift premium which of 14.5%.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
- Assembling/disassembling aircraft electrical and hydraulic actuators and flight controls per supplied drawings and process instructions.
- Identifying proper and improper fits, alignments and condition of components.
- Ensuring adherence to relevant quality procedures and standards.
- Following route cards, work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Works order completion and stamping.
- Performing basic measurement techniques and using hand gauging tools.
- Cleaning, protecting and preparing parts
- Highlighting and declaring non-conformances; supporting quality with disposition activity.
- Completing paperwork and system transactions for completed work.
- Supporting general team duties including 5S and continuous improvement.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with EH&S procedures

**Candidate skills & requirements**
- Must hold a Level 3 NVQ Mechanical/Manufacturing based (ESSENTIAL)
- Must be able to read engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics that identify and explain the function of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components.
- Proven problem solving skills and experience/exposure to lean manufacturing.
- Identifying non-conformances
- Ability to use hand and machine tools.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to work with little or no supervision.
- Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal a must.
- Basic computer skills are an asset.

Your Role
As EHS Manager, you will lead and drive the site's Environmental, Health & Safety strategy, ensuring compliance with all legal and corporate requirements while embedding a proactive safety culture. You will take ownership of the EHS management system, ensuring its effectiveness through continuous improvement, audits, and strong leadership engagement. Working collaboratively across the business, you will provide expert guidance, training, and support to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. This role plays a key part in shaping and delivering sustainable safety performance across the Wolverhampton site and would be suitable for someone who enjoys working with and motivating people to come along on the journey with them.
- Lead the implementation, development and continuous improvement of the EHS Management System
- Lead accident and incident investigations, ensuring timely closure and effective preventative actions
- Drive compliance with legal, regulatory and corporate EHS requirements, including audits (e.g. ISO 14001)
- Develop and delivering EHS training, coaching and mentoring to build capability across all functions of the organisation
- Manage EHS performance metrics and reporting, ensuring clear visibility and accountability
- Engage with leadership teams and committees to drive a strong, proactive safety culture and continuous improvement
