Your New Role.
As a specialist in graphics and a member of the COE AR/VR/GFX, the candidate will be a SME responsible for providing global 3rd Level of Engineering support, covering on call shifts to act in case of an emergency, participating in the research and selection of new technologies, ensuring complete documentation is available to all COE participants, and providing level 2 support. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for training and overseeing the knowledge of Tier 2 support staff.
Your Role Accountabilities
Laboratory Testing: Conducting tests on new software versions and features, tracking bugs, monitoring hardware for graphic systems, and testing graphics deployments on the cloud.
Support: Troubleshooting, following up on issues with suppliers, managing tickets. Being available on-call for global emergencies (Major Incidents).
Documentation and Training: Creating and updating documentation for graphic systems. Generating SOPs for Tier 2 support and providing training.
Design and Implementation for New Projects: Including documentation and training for Tier 2 support and other COE team members.
Participation in COE Meetings: Attending meetings to track issues, discuss new projects, and analyze and define technologies.
Qualifications and Experience
Strong experience with broadcasting equipment related to live productions, and knowledge of 2D and 3D graphic systems and tracking systems is a must.
Methodical in troubleshooting issues both in the lab and during support cases.
Detail-oriented in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment across the organization.
Nice to have.

This MCR Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operation of the Master Control Room (MCR), ensuring a reliable and efficient service within a 24/7 broadcast environment. • Clear insight into project impacts with the ability to identify mitigating solutions.

• Operational knowledge of professional satellite contribution equipment such as dish position controllers, spectrum analysers, transport stream analysers, receivers and decoders.
• Familiarity with contribution standards including J2K, H264 and HEVC.
• Understanding of the operational requirements of Ingest, Playout and Production facilities.

**ENGLISH TRANSCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ The English Transcriber Specialist is responsible for creating English transcription and scripting deliverables, including but not limited to Spotting Lists, English Dialogue Lists, Closed Captions (CCAP), English SDH (Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing), and English Templates
+ The role utilizes WBD‑approved in‑house tools to transcribe episodic, catalog, and internally approved content. Responsibilities include attentively listening to audio recordings and video content to accurately transcribe spoken dialogue, narration, and relevant audio cues.
+ The English Transcriber Specialist captures required scripted events such as on‑screen text, speaker identification, on‑ and off‑screen indicators, scene descriptions where applicable, and basic annotation including sensitive events. The role performs self‑review and proofreading to ensure transcripts are free of grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
+ Additional responsibilities include researching names, terminology, locations, and references using approved sources; applying WBD formatting standards and templates consistently; escalating unclear audio or creative ambiguities to the appropriate reviewer; maintaining confidentiality for sensitive or restricted content.
+ Manage assigned workload; meet established deadlines; maintain required quality standards for accuracy and speed; coordinate with team members on daily assignments; and use internal tracking tools for work queue management.

**Qualifications & Experience.**

The English Transcriber Specialist supports the creation of English scripting and transcription deliverables to ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery within WBD's localization lifecycle. The role applies foundational knowledge of scripting and accessibility materials while working within established processes, tools, and specifications.
The English Transcriber Specialist is part of a collaborative team that supports global localization and accessibility initiatives. The role focuses on accurate transcription, consistent formatting, quality execution, and ongoing skill development while adapting to evolving technologies and workflows.
**Key Responsibilities.**
**ENGLISH TRANSCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ The English Transcriber Specialist is responsible for creating English transcription and scripting deliverables, including but not limited to Spotting Lists, English Dialogue Lists, Closed Captions (CCAP), English SDH (Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing), and English Templates
+ The role utilizes WBD‑approved in‑house tools to transcribe episodic, catalog, and internally approved content. Responsibilities include attentively listening to audio recordings and video content to accurately transcribe spoken dialogue, narration, and relevant audio cues.
+ The English Transcriber Specialist captures required scripted events such as on‑screen text, speaker identification, on‑ and off‑screen indicators, scene descriptions where applicable, and basic annotation including sensitive events. The role performs self‑review and proofreading to ensure transcripts are free of grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
+ Additional responsibilities include researching names, terminology, locations, and references using approved sources; applying WBD formatting standards and templates consistently; escalating unclear audio or creative ambiguities to the appropriate reviewer; maintaining confidentiality for sensitive or restricted content.
+ Manage assigned workload; meet established deadlines; maintain required quality standards for accuracy and speed; coordinate with team members on daily assignments; and use internal tracking tools for work queue management.
+ All work must comply with brand standards, departmental needs, and applicable.
**LEARNING, DEVELOPMENT, & PROCESS SUPPORT**
+ Participates in quality assurance feedback cycles and coaching sessions and applies feedback to improve transcription accuracy, formatting, and efficiency.
+ The role supports testing of new tools or workflows as directed and engages in ongoing training to develop technical competency and scripting knowledge.
+ Provide observations or feedback on tools and processes as appropriate and/or when requested.
**ADMINISTRATIVE**
+ The role participates in team meetings and training sessions
+ Works with the manager to review individual productivity and quality metrics
+ Assists with basic reporting or data gathering as needed.
**Qualifications & Experience.**
+ Hands-on experience in transcription, captioning, scripting, accessibility, timed text, or a related field.
+ Experience using transcription, captioning, or subtitling software is required.
+ Exposure to media, broadcast, streaming, or post‑production environments is preferred.
+ The role requires a strong command of written English, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage, as well as excellent listening skills to accurately transcribe spoken content.
+ Must demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to follow established specifications and workflows, solid formatting and proofreading skills, and the ability to research and fact‑check information.
+ Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools is expected, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal peers.
+ The role requires the ability to manage time and priorities in a deadline‑driven environment, adapt to changing production needs, and learn new tools, systems, and technical processes.
**Not Required but preferred experience:**
+ Typing speed of 60-75 words per minute is preferred.

The Senior Specialist, English Audio Description Writer is a senior editorial authority responsible for authoring and overseeing English Audio Description (AD) scripts across a broad range of content types, including feature‑length films, scripted episodic television, unscripted programming, and complex or ad hoc accessibility projects.
This role applies advanced narrative judgment and editorial expertise to determine what visual information to describe, when to describe it, and how to balance clarity, tone, pacing, and creative intent. The Senior Audio Description Writer operates with a high degree of autonomy, owns complex deliverables end‑to‑end, and serves as a quality benchmark for Audio Description output across the team.
**Key Responsibilities.**
**OPERATION**
+ Author final‑quality English Audio Description scripts across feature‑length, episodic, unscripted, and ad hoc content.
+ Serve as primary editorial owner for assigned titles, making independent decisions regarding narrative prioritization, timing, tone, and descriptive scope.

**Your New Role.**
The Video Newsdesk is the fuel that fires the furnaces of News telling at CNN.
The intern role demands the ability to multitask and create high-quality content for both digital and broadcast.
As well as coordinating our team of live reporters around the world, we work to source, bring in, check and factcheck video for all cnn platforms during our hours. we work on a follow-the-sun model the ability to react to, digest and cover proactively and deliver to deadline is key.
**Your Role Accountabilities.**
+ Looking for video to either break stories or accompany them
+ Requesting reporters
+ Reaching out to press offices for statements and sourcing video/ images.
+ Ensure reporters know about their upcoming live appearances and liaise with show producers to ensure these run smoothly.
+ Program video into stellar to be put online.
**Qualifications & Experience.**
+ Undergraduate or postgraduate journalism degree (not essential), vocational training and/or ability to illustrate a portfolio of work / content (eg: blogs, podcasts, YouTube Channel etc)
+ Working in team environments, ideally to strict deadlines
+ Ability to work quickly, managing time and multiple priorities effectively
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills
+ Have a passion for international news
+ Be proactive and ready to throw themselves in to any task
+ At least one foreign language is a plus
**The Internship.**
+ Salary: £29 ,000 p/a (pro rata)
+ Contract Length: 6 months
+ Start Date: 1st September 2026
