As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment at the oil terminal. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical components related to oil storage, pumping, and distribution systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly. CompEx EX01-04 is desired for this role however training courses will be provided for the successful applicant supported and funded. The successful candidate will be expected to support mechanical activities. Training will be provided to develop this wider skill set and enhance their abilities in wider fields.
Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components at the oil terminal.
- Perform electrical isolations following bp standards.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential electrical problems.
- Analyze and interpret electrical schematics to identify and resolve issues.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring electrical problems.
- Calibrate and adjust electrical equipment to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on electrical and control systems and instruments.

Wood Process & Energy is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our busy team in Clitheroe, Lancashire on an initial 6 month fixed term basis. We are offering this on a LTD Company contract.
The RoleWe are recruiting for an HSE Advisor to support our project in Clitheroe, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will join the construction management team on a batch chemical manufacturing site. The initial term is 6 months with potential to move onto the next phase of the project. We are seeking professionals with a genuine passion to make a difference, a keen eye for sensible risk management and a result-focused approach.
The role will initially support the destruct phase of the project. Candidates should have some experience practicing HSE in an industrial setting and bring fresh ideas to counteract typical HSE challenges on multi-discipline/contractor construction projects in a highly regulated environment. A forward-thinking approach is needed along with the ability to align stakeholders to common goals. Functionally reporting to the service line HSSE Manager, the successful candidate will form part of the Wood UK Operations HSSE Team and have access to an extensive support network.

Responsibilities- Support management with the development and maintenance of a contract-level HSE risks and opportunities register, ensuring control measures are implemented.
- Provide input into establishing HSE objectives and targets within area of responsibility; support HSE Manager in monitoring performance against metrics.
- Develop, maintain and communicate an effective Construction Phase Plan and support its consistent implementation on the project.
- Support the Construction Team in complying with relevant legal requirements including the CDM Regulations.
- Ensure HSE interface requirements are identified and addressed during construction.
- Carry out periodic HSE performance reviews within area of responsibility; report relevant information to internal/external stakeholders and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Implement HSE improvement plan actions as instructed by the Senior HSE Manager.
- Coordinate consistent implementation of the audit program across the project and capture improvement opportunities.

- Undertake the role of PTW coordinator on an as-required basis, providing ad hoc cover during periods of leave or absence from site.
- Ensure the permit to work system is consistently implemented across the construction scope.

Responsibilities Technical Leadership- Act as the subject‑matter expert for biomass technologies, including:
- Combustion, gasification, pyrolysis, anaerobic digestion.
- Materials handling, pelletisation, torrefaction, biochar production, and advanced biofuels.
- Develop engineering inputs into concept / feasibility studies, Front End Engineering Design projects and detailed design and procurement phases.
- Support estimating input for OPEX and CAPEX estimates and assessment of biomass solutions, sustainability, pricing, and supply chain logistics.

Work with the appointed contractors and sub-contractors to design, build, commission and validate equipment and facilities, supporting the Project Manager/Project Engineer.
Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables including where necessary preparation of Construction Work Packs (CWP) including the associated engineering deliverables.
Supervises all areas on small projects or a subset/discipline area on moderate-sized projects.
Responsible for management and execution of a single field discipline or a subset of assigned construction project(s) in accordance with the requirements of the contract between the company and the client, and in accordance with the company’s operating policies and principles and construction handbook and supporting mandatory and best practices.
Responsible for execution of the work in accordance with the quality standards and requirements specified for the project.
Manages and controls project cost and schedule of assigned discipline/subset of onsite construction.
Management of installation, handover to commissioning and completion activities for some materials, plant and equipment, familiar with Completions Management Systems and processes.
Ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan, including prepare and submit a daily surveillance and progress report.
Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated to workers engaged within their area(s) of control.
