As a Chief Engineer you will be directly responsible for the safe and efficient running of the engine room. You will be directly accountable to the Fleet Superintendent and the Senior Chief Engineer in the execution of your duties.

Your tasks as a Chief Engineer are diverse and you will have the opportunity to use and develop your problem-solving skills in a wide range of scenarios.

• Working onboard for 24 weeks per annum (inclusive of 4 rostered weeks annual leave)

Location: Cairnryan, Wigtownshire, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.

Rate of pay: £12.55 per hour plus overtime opportunities

Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off

This is a tremendous opportunity to join a friendly and professional team in Cairnryan. You will join a dedicated team where you will receive ongoing training, support, and development. This role consists of regular body searches and general customer service/security duties.

• Manage access control to the site
• Internal and external patrols of the site

• Produce accurate and comprehensive incident reports
• Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
• Work in conjunction with site Assignment Instructions
