Through an exceptional training programme, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of products and services, enabling you to become a genuine brand advocate.
Withing your designated territory, you will collaborate closely with your customers through regular interactions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Strategic Planning: Develop and execute effective territory plans, leveraging marketing initiatives and product launches to maximise impact.

+ Reporting: Maintain meticulous territory reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness within our CRM systems.

+ Education and Training: Provide guidance, education, and training to optometrists, supporting their professional development and enhancing their clinical offering.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
+ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
+ Experience: Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
+ Education: Degree level qualification, ideally with a focus on science or business.
+ Driver's License: Valid driver's license with no more than three points.
+ Technical Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with CRM systems.
+ Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also demonstrating personal accountability and initiative.

The Architecture Compute, and Engineering organization provides a transformative platform ecosystem with a comprehensive set of capabilities that empowers end users and digital product teams to innovate seamlessly and drive growth for Allstate through the Consumer Connected Cloud mission. This ecosystem aims to provide an absolute frictionless experience for our user community.The Mainframe DPM will assist with several strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing and optimizing Allstate’s mainframe systems. This includes enhancing cyber resiliency through safeguarded storage upgrades, immutable backups, and disaster recovery exercises, while also transitioning legacy workloads to more agile and secure platforms. The role is central to exploring next-generation capabilities such as AI, machine learning, and containerization, leveraging technologies like zCX and z/OS 3.1 to enable on-platform intelligence and scalable automation. These efforts support a broader transformation of mainframe hosting into a dynamic, data-driven ecosystem that integrates seamlessly with distributed environments and accelerates business value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide input on decomposing complex problems into smaller manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing a backlog for the Product Team.
- Assist with managing the product backlog, contribute towards creating an effective vision and provide timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations.
- Contribute towards creating the product strategy for one or more products in our growing digital product portfolio.
- Authors, tests, and accepts stories.
- Represent the “voice of the customer”; invest significant time with current and potential customers to understand their needs and habits.
- Engage in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and product direction.
- Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to provide recommendations on decisions about product strategy.
- Define and manage metrics to measure the success of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy.
Essential Criteria
- All candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. Allstate is unable to provide sponsorship for this position.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Digital Product Manager
- Must have experience in one or more of the following within the last 10 years COBOL, JCL, CICS, IMS, DB2, VSAM, and z/OS fundamentals.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tooling
- Experience of development processes, human centered design, UX/UI design, and digital marketing
- Previous experience of breaking down complex initiatives into incremental and iterative deliverables aligned with Agile best practices and effectively communicating innovative product concepts to cross-functional development teams.
- Proven ability to apply data-driven decision-making to influence product direction and prioritization.
Desirable Criteria
- Understanding of the system behaviors, how batch and online transactions work, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with RACF, encryption standards, and audit requirements, especially in regulated industries like Insurance or Finance
