The Role

The Monitoring Senior Software Developer plays a key role in designing , implementing , and maintaining advanced monitoring solutions across broadcast and media systems . What you'll do:
  • Design and develop advanced monitoring solutions using platforms like Dataminer , Grafana , and custom integrations across broadcast and media infrastructures .
  • Implement and maintain real- time monitoring and observability across broadcast and media systems , ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross- functional teams to define monitoring requirements and translate them into scalable , reusable and innovative technical solutions .

The Monitoring Strategy Manager is a pivotal leadership position within our broadcast technology organization, focused on advancing the frontiers and design and build a consistent and innovative strategy for video and transmission monitoring. This role is dedicated to managing the technical aspects of video and transmission workflow monitoring, ensuring that operations have the proper support in delivering our broadcast solutions at the highest quality across various platforms.

What you'll do:
  • Lead Video Monitoring Initiatives: Direct strategic initiatives focused on defining and implementing monitoring requirements across operational domains, ensuring alignment with service reliability goals and operational excellence. Actively engage with operational teams to guide them in identifying key monitoring needs and supervise the development of scalable, integrated monitoring solutions.
  • Innovate and Improve : Push the boundaries of current video monitoring by researching and integrating the latest monitoring solutions , and technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency and service excellence.
  • Leverage Data for Monitoring Excellence: Champion a data-driven approach to monitoring by utilizing operational metrics, logs, telemetry, and analytics to identify trends, detect anomalies, and uncover optimization opportunities. Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to build intelligent dashboards, predictive models, and advanced alerting systems that enhance visibility, responsiveness, and the ability to anticipate incidents before they impact service quality.
