What you'll be doing

As Warehouse Manager you will report into the Supply Chain Manager and lead colleagues in the Warehouse team to select the required products for distribution to customers in a timely manner and ensure compliance with required standards.

• Continuously monitor all operational processes and the overall working environment to ensure that all activities comply with food safety standards
• Monitor and review rotas to ensure that staff availability and alignment fits with the requirements of the department and training operational needs
• Promote a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) culture within the department, ensuring compliance with all elements of the health and safety procedures and management system to promote a safe working environment
• Ensure training is planned, recorded and managed for staff in accordance with agreed training matrices
• Manage waste levels to a minimum to manage costs
• Provide Leadership and direction to the team to ensure that they are appropriately trained, operate to Group policy standards and performance is maximised
• Monitoring operational performance trends to ensure that delivery meets agreed customer and Greencore standards and that opportunities for performance improvement are rapidly identified and implemented

Role Details:

• Shift Times : 1:30pm, with the route planned in at 8 - 12 hours long
• Pay Rate: £13 per hour (+ £.15 for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am)
• Overtime: Overtime Premium are payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter
• Shift Pattern : Sunday to Friday with a rolling rest day
• Workload : On average between 20-30 drops per day

A distribution depot serving convenience retailers and forecourts in the region. The depot operates a fleet of 48 vehicles on 53 routes.

What you'll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed. You would be expected to work five days per week, which would include mandatory Saturdays. With this shift pattern there will be no Sunday work and working day off as well on rotation. On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with. What we're looking for:

Being great with people is essential. In fact, this is the first thing we look for when we recruit a Greencore driver. Of course, you also need to have a full UK driving license held for at least six months with a maximum of 6 points and 6 months van driving experience is preferred.

Working within an exciting and fast paced environment, you will be a key member of our technical team and will ensure the service we provide to our customer is of exceptional quality. The role can be physically demanding with a good amount of pushing, pulling and lifting involved.

Task will involve:

* Carry out day to day hygiene activities in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity.

* Cleaning and sanitising of equipment as per the hygiene schedule

* Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel

* Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Coordinator/ Hygiene Team Leader

* Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department

* Identify and highlight any opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance in support of the overall shift plan

What we're looking for

Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience:

* A good standard of education; demonstrates good literacy and numerical skills, able to understand, communicate and report clearly in English.

What you'll be doing

As Hygiene Team Leader (Hygiene Zone Manager) you will monitor and review the activities of a team of hygiene operatives to ensure that all sanitation processes are completed in full and that hygiene standards for a given area are maintained during the production shift.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 17:30 - 05:30

Tasks will involve:

• Ensure that the team has the right number of resources with the appropriate skills, deploying a recruitment and training plan and adopting appropriate people practices, to enabling them to deliver the master cleaning schedule
• Create and present a clear forward resourcing plan (people and materials) for cleaning, sanitation, environment and technical, and adapt this in light of emerging circumstance to minimise food risk
• Direct and monitor the team's delivery of the day to day hygiene activities, in line with the master schedule, to ensure operational integrity
• Communicate, and validate the team's adoption of amendments to SOPs to ensure change is effectively implemented and improvements are made to functional hygiene performance and safety practices
• Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks, to inform the preventative maintenance programme
• Ensure personal and team compliance with inventory controls to facilitate the timely replacement of materials
• Provide appropriate information, in accordance with agreed procedures, to customers/regulatory bodies to ensure demonstration of process and procedures
• Ensure that a safe working environment exists for colleagues and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set in the SHE Policy

• Food Hygiene NVQ level 2/certification of sanitation or equivalent

• Previous experience in FMCG or similar hygiene role

• Working with manufacturing equipment

• This role involves standing for long periods of time, working in chilled environment and wear personal protective equipment
