Hours:   37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours to overlap with core school hours  (Part time hours may be considered)  

Contract:   Permanent ( Term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)

The role:   

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Red Moor School 

Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working. This will guide your practice within an education setting and clarify your roles and responsibilities, while taking into account the requirements of your governing and professional bodies. You will be given responsibility for holding a Speech and Language therapy caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultation as required This post would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.

Essential Criteria:   

  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • HCPC registered
  • Minimum 2yrs experience as a fully registered member of the RCSLT working in a similar setting
  • Some relevant experience in a previously held job of engaging and working with individuals presenting with complex and diverse communication profiles
  • Some knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma informed practice
  • Some experience of multi-disciplinary working in a range of settings
  • Some experience of communicating with/working with families/relatives and carers
  • An interest in developing knowledge and skills in different areas of SaLT practice
  • Good relationship building, analytical and judgmental skills
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Competent in core areas of SaLT practice and clear understanding of RCSLT Communication Standards
  • Knowledge of different SaLT assessment tools, types of intervention and knowledge of how to formulate support plans based on needs profile
  • Knowledge of legislation and its implications for both clinical practice and professional management in relation to the client group
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Willingness to attend training and working towards further qualifications relevant to the client group supporting

A Day in the Life of an Ipsos Field Market Research Interviewer

Imagine it:

It’s Wednesday afternoon. You’ve enjoyed your day, and now it’s time for your shift as a Field Market Research Interviewer! You’re heading out for a scheduled 6-hour shift (starting around 1 or 2pm), one of three you’ve pre-booked for the week, consisting of weekdays and weekends between the hours of 9am and 8pm.

You hop in your car - you’ll need that, business insurance and a valid driver’s licence for this job - and head to a neighbourhood nearby. Your mission? Chatting with people about their opinions and experiences - right at their doorstep! You’ll be going door-to-door, inviting people to participate in surveys. Don’t worry; we provide all the training you need to feel confident approaching people, even if they weren’t expecting a visit. And to make things easier, we offer mileage reimbursement for your travels.

Description

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be based at our yard in Nanpean ( St Austell ), you will be expected to achieve high outputs supporting the excavation and re-instatement teams whilst maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards.

Working with a mate you will carry out various back fill and muck away activities working to HAUC and client specifications you will be an important part of the team delivering to a high standard with a ‘can do attitude’ and you will also be expected to undertake weekly overtime and weekend working as and when required.


Key Responsibilities
  • You will drive and operate a HGV
  • You will load excavated waste and deliver materials i.e. ducts, Backfill materials in accordance with the NRSWA
  • You will back fill with sand and stone of all trenches
  • You will undertake out of hours standby support duties when required



Experience and Qualifications
  • HIAB ticket will be needed 
  • Machine operating would be a bonus
  • Must have good knowledge of safe operation of heavy equipment
  • Experience of working in Utilities 
  • SHEA or EUSR Qualifications preferred
  • NRASWA essential
  • CPCS, ALLMI or NPORS Lorry loader qualification is essential
  • Knowledge of Signing, lighting and Guarding in the highway is essential

As a Fault Coordinator, you will support the Commercial and Operational Support Teams in delivering work for the clients. You will ensure that work is delivered accurately; supporting in the submission of the correct forms and ensuring data is correct and up to date. 


Key Responsibilities
  • You will monitor and manage daily field activities through field mobility systems, audit mobile and photographic compliance
  • You will manage requests for extensions/amendments required to notices/permits
  • You will manage updating the systems to ensure that all the excavation measures are inputted correctly ready to be passed on to the reinstatement department - reconciling work activities on the system
  • You will investigate and provide information to the performance analyst.
  • You will manage the use of our management systems; ensuring all works carried out have been billed correctly
  • You will carry out any other administrative duties appropriate for a job of this nature
  • You will be part of the call desk 



Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience of working within the Utilities sector desired but not essential
  • IT and system literate
  • Ability to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under tight time pressures
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
