Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced Continual improvement Engineer to join our busy Quality department at our Group's headquarters in Belton, Grantham.

Working closely with and as a key part of the Quality team, you'll be responsible for the constant review of business processes to identify Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities that will result in increased efficiency, cost savings, or Customer satisfaction through measurable KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

You will also Develop and implement a suite of CI training modules in order to deliver operational excellence across the business and manage CI projects across the business.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience continual improvement implementation and support is required. And a minimum of 3 years’ experience of automotive business awareness (or similar) is desired.

Purpose: Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for keeping yourself and your co-workers free from injury.
• Learn and follow HSE policies, rules and work instructions, attend required HSE training.
• Work with the Quality Manager to identify new process improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, cost, performance, and preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Analyse current process metrics and identify opportunities to reduce process variation, improve process capabilities and optimize process performance.
• Develop, Implement and Maintain an OPEX Academy
• Facilitate Kaizen projects across the business.
• May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
