Job Summary

The Customer Support Coordinator is responsible for taking ownership of customer issues, tasks and complaints once customers have settled into their new homes and been handed over from the Customer Relations Managers, managing resolution through to completion. This includes correctly identifying what action needs to be taken, allocating the correct resource in a timely manner, and where appropriate, ensuring the necessary parts and supplies have been ordered to enable remediation works to be carried out. They should also ensure customers are kept up to date with progress towards the resolution of their issue or complaint.


The Customer Support Coordinator should be conversant in using the technology provided to carry out their role and be adherent to the relevant processes and procedures, including all health and safety regulations and protocols.

  • Looks for solutions when blockers to remedying issues for customers arise and ensures the Customer Support Manager is made aware when factors may not enable the resolution to happen within SLA
  • Ensures issues, tasks and complaints have quality notes for reference so there is an accurate record of all customer interactions and so that further clarification isn’t required with the customer by another person
  • Builds relationships with other functions and works collaboratively with them to resolve issues, tasks and complaints
  • Builds relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they understand our expectations of their customer commitments and provide feedback where appropriate to ensure continuous improvement of their service offering

Job Summary

You will be responsible for the day to day running of plot sale transactions for allocated regional Taylor Wimpey Business Units. You will liaise with the Business Unit’s  Sales and Technical teams and provide a comprehensive reporting and monitoring system for the progression and completion of plot sale transactions.

Liaising with and reporting to the allocated Business Unit(s) on the progression of plots and the resale of part-exchange properties, and proactively managing transactions in order to assist the Business Units achieve targets set for exchanges and completions.

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Conveyancing Process Management: Oversee the entire sale process from initiating draft contract packs to handling enquiries, exchanging contracts, meeting deadlines, and ensuring successful completion of new home sales.
  • Compliance and Knowledge: Stay updated on relevant developments, home ownership schemes (e.g., Home Stepper, First Homes), sales incentive schemes (e.g., Deposit Unlock, Deposit Top Up, Part Exchange), and disposal of leasehold and freehold affordable housing.
  • Due Diligence and Compliance: Conduct purchaser due diligence, address Anti-Money Laundering concerns, including 
  • source of funds, and manage post-completion tasks such as delivering notices to Landlords/Management Companies.
  • Correspondence and Reporting: Generate and handle correspondence, attend to pre-exchange, pre-completion, and post-completion matters. Produce accurate reports and maintain high presentation standards.
  • Performance Targets and Efficiency: Achieve departmental performance targets, assist in Business Units' goal attainment, and participate in progression meetings when necessary.
  • File Management and Proactive Planning: Maintain meticulous file management adhering to paperless procedures. Proactively plan and organize work, engaging with Line Managers to streamline activities.
  • Team Collaboration and Support: Foster teamwork, be approachable and respectful to colleagues, assist during peak periods, and support the Divisional Legal Manager in team training.
  • Continuous Improvement and Training: Develop expertise in role-related processes and technical skills. Familiarize with other Business Unit functions and attend relevant training courses.

Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements

  • Previous experience in a plot sales environment OR residential conveyancing practice along with  a detailed understanding of the residential property environment and having a minimum of three years relevant experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the conveyancing processes is essential

  • Experience in handling high volume work and the ability to remain calm and collected

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is important

  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels and to analyse complex legal issues quickly and decisively

Normal working pattern for this role:

Working Day Shift start/end time
Wednesday 6pm - 10pm
Friday 2pm - 6pm

Our working patterns are non-contractual.   Any advertised working pattern represents the normal working pattern for the role at time of advertisement and may be subject to change.

The person we are looking for
