In this role, you willl be delivering freshly roasted Costa Coffee beans and a variety of delicious food items to our stores—ensuring every delivery is made on time and in perfect condition.
You will be working an average of 48 hours per week, on an ‘any 5 from 8 ’ shift pattern, with start times between 05:00 and 08:30 , ideal for those who enjoy early mornings and getting a head start on the day.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Conduct thorough pre and post-shift checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition
- Delivering chilled, frozen, and ambient goods to Costa Coffee stores on a multi-drop route
- Using totes and tote boards to unload stock at each store
- Navigate through busy city routes and handle challenging parking locations
- Keep a close eye on vehicle defects and wear and tear and report them promptly
- Ensure that all documentation is filled out accurately and submitted on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Hold a valid UK Driving licence with Category C (Class 2)
- Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
- An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative

About the Role
As Fostering Service Manager you will be expected to work closely with Local Authorities to effectively manage, develop and promote Social Work and Support Services within your remit. You will be accountable for the operational, regulatory and financial performance of your area.
Reporting directly to the Registered Manager, you will provide positive and strong leadership and management to your team consisting of 5 Senior/Supervising Social Workers to create a positive and lasting difference for children/young people and foster carers.
This role is a Full Time, Permanent position which also comes with an attractive salary of up to 0,038 per annum depending on skills/experience with company car/allowance + extensive benefits which includes a generous holiday allowance of up to 35 days annual leave in line with service + Bank Holidays and contributory pension scheme.
About You
You will need to be SWE registered Social Worker, with at least 3 years' experience in fostering and have some experience of supervising social work staff. With proven experience in working successfully in a commercial environment, supported by a strong commitment to improving outcomes for looked after children and young people and providing high quality foster care provision, you will also possess a good understanding of the Fostering Service from a regulatory, commercial and operational point of view.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Support foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for all children and young people in foster care.
- Support and monitor the continued suitability and competence of Foster parents ensuring they provide a safe, healthy, nurturing and learning environment for children/young people.
- Ensure that carers fully understand the fostering task, competencies to be achieved and the standards expected, including complaints and representation procedures as detailed in the FCA policies and procedures.
- Provide and record regular supervision to allocated foster parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
- Work in partnership in a team parenting approach to help identify any needs within the foster family e.g. respite, activities, therapy, holidays, with all members of the child's network, including contributing to all relevant meetings and any other tasks defined.
- Ensure each child and foster parent are fully compliant in respect of all key documentation.
- Attend meetings and/or provide reports for Commissioning Teams to address individual packages of care.
- Promote participation of children/young people in the development of the agency and in accessing resources and opportunities in their local community.
- Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis
- Undertake occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- A Social Work qualification
- Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent
- Proven ability to produce a high standard of report writing
- A comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures
- The willingness and ability to travel extensively (including occasional nights away)
- Confidence with transporting children and young people in sometimes stressful/difficult situations
- Full driving licence
