Our support workers enable our young people to get their childhood back and create pathways to become well rounded adults – an incredibly rewarding role to have. Get out what you put inYou’ll take care of our young people day to day, making sure things run smoothly and creating lasting memories. This involves making sure they are up and ready for school, helping with homework, completing paperwork and planning activities. Evenings and weekends are for fun, whether that’s playing on the Xbox, a game of football, having a film day or going go-karting – not a bad way to spend your day at work! Salary : Base salary of £28,134 - £34,302
- >Bonuses : In addition to your base salary you’ll do up to 4 sleep ins per months, these are paid at £8 per sleep (approx. ,840 per year) and ,400 Attendance Allowance – assuming good attendance, £2 00 Regional Allowance, ,000 Welcome Bonus - on successful completion of probation & ,000 Loyalty Bonus (after 12 months of employment)

Using your expert knowledge and passion for boosting young people’s positive outcomes whilst in our care, you’ll visit our homes and identify priorities for development in your area of responsibility. It’s a great opportunity to work closely with senior leadership teams, supporting them to develop their homes so that our young people receive the very best outcomes possible.
Where change is required, you will take the lead and be part of a team that supports and drives the process of development whilst maintaining the Witherslack Group’s vision and values. As our organisation continues to grow and expand, we’re determined to ensure that every young person’s future is in the very best hands.
Get out what you put in
Leading in the area of care development, you will have at least 4 years’ experience of working in Children's Homes with a track record of change management and role development. Ideally you will have experience of coaching, safeguarding, mentoring and have a good understanding of Ofsted inspections in Children's Homes . As you’ll be visiting Children's homes nationwide, you’ll need a full UK driving licence and the willingness to travel.
