Deliver smiles, backed by Amazon. To become a delivery driver, you will need a valid UK driving licence, an iPhone or Android smartphone and a mid-size vehicle with 5 seats or larger. You will also need a UK National Insurance Number, proof of your Right to Work in the UK, commercial vehicle insurance (also referred to as ‘hire and reward’ insurance) and, to pass a background and criminal record check which includes, but is not limited to, a review of driving licence records. No previous experience as a transportation driver, truck or lorry driver, taxi driver, courier driver or delivery driver is necessary. As a Sales Advisor based in our Honiton branch you’ll be responsible for:  

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations

• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude

• Working within the warehouse - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)

• Loading and unloading stock

• Booking stock in and putting it away in the designated location

• Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency

This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm.

• Previous face to face customer service experience

• To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch

• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
