Job Description

How would you like to be paid for five days but only work four*?

Our colleagues’ wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at OFG, so we’re always looking for new ways to improve everyone’s work/life balance. We’re taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent).

If the trial is a success, we’ll be rolling the 4DWW out across the Group – so there’s never been a more exciting time to join #teamOFG!

Job title:  Primary Teacher

Location: Hambrook School, Burgess Hill, West Sussex

Salary:    Up to £42,000.00 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)

Hours:     40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.

As part of our continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Primary Teacher to join our close-knit team at Hambrook School, part of the Options Autism family.

About the Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will take a creative and personalised approach to teaching pupils with varied and complex needs. You will deliver the KS1 and KS2 curricula in ways that maximise pupil achievement and support their development.

This role offers an exciting chance to spend less time on paperwork and more time creating inspiring learning opportunities. You’ll work in a supportive environment with a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decisions about their learning and wellbeing.

We pride ourselves on the high quality of education we provide, and we’re looking for a confident and motivated Primary Teacher who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable pupils in the UK to be happy and successful.

While experience working in an SEN or ASC environment is desirable, excellent teaching skills, resilience, and the right personal qualities are equally important.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)

If you are ready to make a meaningful difference and grow professionally within a supportive and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
