The role?
This is a great opportunity to help monitor, maintain, and enhance compliance controls across the firm.
- Undertaking periodic reviews of Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Higher-Risk client files
- Supporting the completion of client periodic reviews
- Maintaining and updating compliance registers
- Conducting AML-related searches and screening checks, preparing relevant documentation
- Assisting with gap analyses between legislation and internal policies
- Reviewing new client onboarding documentation to confirm compliance with procedures
- Contributing to compliance team meetings and implementing agreed actions
- Supporting ad-hoc compliance projects as required
About You
2+ years’ experience in a compliance or similar role
A strong understanding of AML Principles and CDD Processes
ICA qualification (or willingness to study towards one)

They’ve built a stellar reputation and are now looking for a Compliance Manager to join their Jersey office and support the Senior Compliance Manager in running the function.
This is a brilliant opportunity if you’ve got solid experience in AML and wider compliance, especially within legal or financial services. It’s a hands-on role with lots of variety – think advisory work, compliance monitoring, training, mentoring, and (if you’re up for it) stepping into some MLCO responsibilities.
The Job?
- Offer practical advice to business teams on AML and compliance matters
- Ensure monitoring reviews are effective and learnings improve controls
- Feed insights into policy updates and staff training
- Manage, mentor, and review performance of team members
- Support senior leaders and the MLRO with investigations and projects
- Deliver compliance inductions for new joiners
- Option to take on MLCO duties – overseeing control and training effectiveness
About you?
5+ years experience in Compliance (Ideally in a law firm)
Strong knowledge of AML regulations and offshore regulatory requirements
Ideally you have an ICA or other relevant qualification
Strong Communication skills
