The purpose of the post is to coordinate safety case preparation, review, resources and to interface with project managers to assist in the delivery of safety case submissions in line with the site's project programme. The job holder will be responsible for supporting the production of accurate safety cases in conjunction with authority to operate (ATO) holders, project managers, and safety case officers. This may include the use of the supply chain for production of safety cases

We are seeking an individual with experience in managing contractors to help deliver safety case-related services in alignment with the programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project delivery and be capable of working with the supply chain to ensure effective support to the safety team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and review of organisational process, standards and methodologies for nuclear safety cases to reflect good practice and legislation
- Establish the scope and strategy for the production/development of nuclear safety cases throughout the life of the site/facility
- Ensure correct implementation of changes to organisational process, standards and methodologies for nuclear safety cases

**Key responsibilities:**
+ Provide expert technical direction on strategic nuclear decommissioning and waste management projects.
