As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work. You’ll have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.

Skills and experience

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical)

The Cairndale Spa, Scotland's newest and only 5 Bubble Luxury spa destination, is looking for an Assistant Spa Manager to join our award-winning team. Following incredible success since opening and with exciting growth plans for 2026, this is a rare opportunity to take on a leadership role within one of the country's most dynamic spa environments.

About the Role

As Assistant Spa Manager, you will support the Spa Manager in the day-to-day running of the spa, ensuring the highest standards of service, professionalism, and guest satisfaction. You'll play a key role in motivating and developing our team, maintaining exceptional operational standards, and helping deliver new initiatives as our spa continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Spa Manager in daily operations and team leadership.
• Ensure outstanding guest experiences across all treatments, facilities, and spa journeys.
• Drive service standards, training, and staff development.
• Assist with scheduling, stock control, and operational administration.
• Contribute to achieving revenue targets and maximising guest spend.
