We’re on the lookout for a skilled 7.5T HGV/Truck Driver to join our fantastic team in Warrington. You’ll be working a rolling 3-week rota, covering 4 shifts over 7 days, working 12-hour shifts, your start time will be between either 12am and 3am or 3pm and 5pm each shift, you will only do either AM or PM shift's not both, so if you’re ready to embrace the rhythm and keep things moving, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Success in this role looks like:  

• Has a good understanding of Health and Safety Legislation, Food Safety Standards and with a good geographic knowledge of UK roads, we need you to possess a full licence relevant to the Class 2 role.
• You will be carrying out daily checks in line with Company procedure prior to leaving site to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, the load is safe and secure, and the correct vehicle is being taken out by checking the load against the delivery paperwork.
• Ideally you will have at least 1 year’s current driving experience and no more than 6 points, you will need multi-drop delivery experience, standards and equipment in the chilled food industry experience as well as being able to deal with heavy goods.  You will have the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with customers, colleagues, and managers with the ability to work within a team to achieve daily targets.

A Bit About the Job:

In this role, you will support our customers and brokers throughout the commercial property claims process. You will assist customers and brokers from the initial claim report to the final resolution, coordinating the arrangement of property repairs, processing settlements, and providing updates on liability and progress.

You need to work proactively on the claim, building strong relationships with brokers, and minimising the inconvenience to our customers' daily operations. You will need to juggle multiple tasks at pace and utilise a range of digital systems.

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

• Commercial Property Claims Experience: Previous experience in commercial property claims or claims handling is essential.
• Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities in a dynamic setting.

We support smart working, so once you’ve successfully completed your training and are fully prepared, this role will transition to a hybrid model where you will spend 50% of your time in the office and the remaining 50% working from home.

What you'll be doing

As Warehouse Manager you will report into the Supply Chain Manager and lead colleagues in the Warehouse team to select the required products for distribution to customers in a timely manner and ensure compliance with required standards.

• Continuously monitor all operational processes and the overall working environment to ensure that all activities comply with food safety standards
• Monitor and review rotas to ensure that staff availability and alignment fits with the requirements of the department and training operational needs
• Promote a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) culture within the department, ensuring compliance with all elements of the health and safety procedures and management system to promote a safe working environment
• Ensure training is planned, recorded and managed for staff in accordance with agreed training matrices
• Manage waste levels to a minimum to manage costs
• Provide Leadership and direction to the team to ensure that they are appropriately trained, operate to Group policy standards and performance is maximised
• Monitoring operational performance trends to ensure that delivery meets agreed customer and Greencore standards and that opportunities for performance improvement are rapidly identified and implemented
