Overall purpose of the role:

To orchestrate and drive the Compliance stream of the bank-wide initiative , a CEO-sponsored transformation focused on leveraging new technologies, such as AI , to reinvent operational playbooks and increase efficiency across the organisation. The immediate goal is to define the strategic framework, secure resources, and create the detailed execution plan for the multi-year program's formal launch.

Key Accountabilities:

• Define the "bare bones" structure, plan, and organisational approach for the Compliance stream of the Big Rocks program during the critical initiation phase.

• Orchestrate the entire project front-to-back , establishing detailed project plans, defining required governance, and mapping out resource needs.

• Develop a multi-year strategic roadmap with the immediate target of creating a robust 3-year rollout plan by mid-next year.

• Collaborate with all divisions within Compliance, bridging diverse stakeholders and guiding them to rethink and change their ways of working.

• Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including very senior MD-level executives and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to establish appropriate governance structures.

• Lead the process for formal budget approvals and secure the necessary resources for the program's execution phase, which is scheduled to commence formally in 2027.

• Maintain a clear command of the program's direction and confidently articulate how tasks need to be executed to ensure progress.

Key Skills:

• Compliance Expertise: A strong background in Banking / Financial Services Compliance is required, as the role's focus is on the compliance stream of the program. Experience with risk and controls frameworks is highly advantageous.

• Transformation & Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in leading or contributing to large-scale transformation programs that successfully unify diverse stakeholders (up to MD level) and drive significant changes to ways of working.

• Project Initiation & Planning: Expertise in the initiation stage of major projects , including defining scope, developing detailed front-to-back plans, establishing governance, and resource mapping.

• Communication & Leadership: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently direct the project's execution and engage with very senior stakeholders.

• Industry Experience: Experience within the broader Financial Services sector is required , with a strong preference for direct experience in the banking environment .

• Methodologies & Tools: Familiarity with hybrid methodologies; experience with Agile is a bonus. Experience with project planning tools like MS Project is ideal but not essential.

• Note: This is an individual contributor role with no formal team management responsibilities.

Job Title: Transaction Monitoring & Screening Advisory Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Vice President to join IB-FC to support the business with a strong expertise in financial crime risk management, policy and regulation across IB transaction monitoring and/or screening. The primary duties of this role will be to support the completion of Transaction Monitoring Risk Assessments, ensure Barclays transaction monitoring and screening risk coverage remains commensurate to the level of business risk exposure, increase the efficiency of transaction monitoring and screening, support the implementation of strategic initiatives and business growth, manage emerging risks and issues in line with Barclays Issue Management Standards.

Key Accountabilities:

• Support the Senior Transaction Monitoring Advisory Manager to complete Transaction Monitoring Risk Assessments for the IB business.

• Identify enhancements to IB transaction monitoring and screening risk coverage, developing appropriate solutions (in conjunction with key stakeholders) and supporting the successful delivery of identified solutions.

• Identify, escalate and manage emerging transaction monitoring and screening risks and issues in line with Barclays Issue Management Standards.

• Support strategic business growth by assessing the impact of new/amended products and services on the IB business risk profile and determining if transaction monitoring and screening enhancements are required.

• Assess the impact of policy, regulatory changes and strategic initiatives on transaction monitoring requirements.

• Enable an effective working relationship between the Product/Coverage, TM/Screening Model Owners, TM/Screening Operations and second line of defence in Financial Crime Compliance on matters relevant to transaction monitoring.

• Review and challenge the transaction monitoring/screening control environment (including those undertaken by shared services or outsourced service providers).

Key Skills:

• Strong understanding and prior experience of transaction monitoring/screening within wholesale banking (e.g. transaction banking, correspondent banking, markets, trade finance).

• Strong data analytic skills and knowledge of machine learning advantageous.

• Knowledge of regulatory expectations across multiple geographies (e.g. US, UK, EU, APAC).

• Experience of interacting with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

What You'll Be Doing

Are you an experienced multiskilled maintenance engineer from an FMCG/Food background looking for a new challenge?

As one of our highly skilled maintenance engineers you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out fault finding, problem solving and planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to maximise equipment reliability and performance
• Responding to internal customer needs to maximise production time according to given priorities
• Complying with food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely
• Completing all necessary documentation ensuring that it is kept accurate and is audit ready
• Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote Health & Safety and/or operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Maintenance on a range of manufacturing/production/packaging machinery

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - rotating days and nights

What We're Looking For

People who have experience operating as an engineer, following a completed accredited apprenticeship or equivalent experience with appropriate Level 3 qualification

As one of our maintenance engineers you will

• Be an apprentice trained engineer with a relevant qualifications
• Have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/FMCG or similar
• Utilise a proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop
• Have experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding
