What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, implement and maintain the Safety Management System
  • Support the production of Project Safety Management Plans
  • Undertake Product Safety hazard and risk identification, management and assessment activities
  • Support construction of the Project Product Safety Case including Safety Case Reports
  • Support administration and management of the Project Hazard Log
  • Support the delivery training to the Product Safety and Environmental domains and the wider BAE Systems community
  • Produce, present and articulate clear and logical technical safety arguments

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working as part of an Integrated Development Team, established to develop and deliver submarine systems/capability
  • Specifically focusing on ensuring that Product Safety tasking and activities are completed across multiple systems in support of project milestones through all stages of Engineering Life Cycle Management

As a manufacturer-trained Diagnostic Technician you will take on a wide variety of diagnostic, repair and maintenance work - from complex electrical issues to EV-specific systems - all carried out to exact manufacturer standards. If you’re looking to work for a market leader, then read on as we are looking for a Clinic Manager to work in our Coventry clinic, that offers consultations for Laser Eye Surgery and private eye examinations, in the role you will have full responsibility for managing the performance of the team, across our healthcare brands, Optical Express, and sk:n. The role will also include management responsibilities for our Leamington Spa consultation clinic.

Key Responsibilities

You will be customer facing and you will help drive performance for the practice. You’ll also be responsible for the daily operational efficiency of the practice; a key part of your role will be developing the team and also promoting the benefits of laser surgery to patients.

You will have strong management experience within an Optical setting or high-end retail. You’ll be adept at delivering great results through your passion for people and by working closely with members of your team to develop them through performance management.

It goes without saying that you’ll possess excellent communication and presentation skills, be articulate, motivated to achieve and have a willingness to learn and progress within Optical Express.

Day to day

  • Effectively and efficiently manage resources to meet customer demands
  • Ensure the practice is presentable and maintained to the highest standards of tidiness and cleanliness which showcase the professional image of Optical Express
  • Help recruit, induct, coach and support your team to ensure all team members meet acceptable levels of knowledge and competence
  • Ensure the team influences and advises potential patients on the most suitable and appropriate solution for their needs
