About the Role
As an SEN Primary Teacher at Claystone School, you will inspire and support pupils with ASC and complex needs to reach their full potential. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to individual learning styles, monitor progress, and create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching to individuals and small groups in line with the School’s curriculum, Company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor, record, and report on student progress regularly, ensuring every pupil receives the support they need.
- Support the implementation of the School Development Plan and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Promote pupils’ physical, educational, social, and moral development, consistent with Company policies.
- Develop and implement personalised learning programs to enable student progression at an appropriate pace.
- Coordinate teaching, assessment, recording, and reporting of subjects across key stages, as directed by the Headteacher.
- Devise, implement, and review individual education plans (IEPs), behaviour plans, and other relevant strategies in collaboration with staff.
- Organise the classroom, resources, groupings, and displays to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEN children (desirable)

Claystone School is a small, independent school supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), who may also have a range of additional needs. Located in Pepperstock, Luton, the school caters for up to 48 pupils aged 4–11, providing a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children with ASC and complex needs can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The role:
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Claystone School. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working. This will guide your practice within an education setting and clarify your roles and responsibilities, while taking into account the requirements of your governing and professional bodies. You will be given responsibility for holding an occupational therapy caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultation as required This post would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.

Essential Criteria:
- Recognised Occupational Therapy degree
- Valid and up to date HCPC Registration
- Registered member of RCOT
- Relevant experience in providing occupational therapy services within a similar setting is preferrable
- Previously engaged with people who are neurodivergent and/or experience learning difficulty and/or socio-emotional and mental health difficulties in any setting, being able to evidence transferrable skills
- Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application to support independence

At least 6 months experience required
What you will do.
We are a 24/7 operation, and you will trunk from RDC to RDC with no handball.
On average 3 swaps per shift, working with box trailers both single and double deckers
Your start and end point will be our Bedford Depot and you will drop/swap trailers within the network.
What we offer
Daily rate of pay ranging from £4 000 plus overtime guaranteed
On average 8-12 hour shifts with 9 hour shifts on average
No manual handling - drop & swap trailers

What we Require?
CE Experience - 6 months minimum provable commercial experience required
A valid C+E Entitlement on your Driving Licence
A valid UK CPC card
A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
A maximum of 6 penalties ( No DD, DR or IN endorsements)
Right to work documentation
English language skills for safety
Willing to undergo a Background Check and Drug and Alcohol test
