So what do we need from you?
You don’t need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!
But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:
- Full UK or EU driving licence.
- Minimum of 6 months driving experience (12 months experience desirable).
- Maximum of 6 penalty points.
- No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.
As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

The role
The Cherwell Hospital is currently looking to recruit an exceptional Pre-Assessment Nurse to provide specialist nursing expertise, facilitating evidence-based patient-cantered care and assessment for a defined caseload of pre-assessment patients.
- To work both independently and collaboratively with a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, enabling them to co-ordinate patients throughout their pre-assessment pathway, with a high level of input into the management and care of patients prior to admission for specified procedures.
- To support of all members of staff within the Outpatient department, including students of nursing/visiting healthcare professionals
- To act as a liaison link with the Multi-disciplinary team and contribute to work involved in the Anesthetic Meeting / Complex MDT meeting - for example - escalating complex patient and help plan their care
- Uses highly developed communication skills to provide guidance, advice and support to the patient / ward / physio / theatre staff regarding management of their proposed admission and its impact on patient’s/carer’s life.
- Whilst communicating complex, sensitive, sometimes distressing information to patient, is able to identify and overcome barriers to patient understanding
- Establishes partnerships with patients/carers and communicates with them, sometimes in highly distressing or emotional circumstances
- Act as patients advocate, ensuring that informed consent, privacy and dignity are maintained (NMC)

About the Role
You will manage a caseload tailored to your experience, ensuring that children’s and their families’ voices are heard, and their needs are met. You will work with families using the Family Support and Safeguarding Workbook modules, and a strengths-based approach, ensuring the Assistant/Team Manager is kept fully appraised of significant information.
Most importantly, you will ensure provision of good quality services which integrate government and local guidance and initiatives including, Children Acts 1989 & 2004, Working Together, local Child Protection and Looked After Children procedures, and the DoH, Assessment Framework 2000.
You will be well versed in preparing and submitting written reports as and when required, including child protection conference reports and legal reports for care proceedings. You will have the confidence to undertake child and family assessments for allocated families, investigate allegations of harm or neglect under s47 Children Act 1989, when required.
By efficiently using ICT, you will maintain accurate case records and will be able to record activity in line with key performance management data.
About you
As a qualified experienced Social Worker, you will possess good working knowledge of services relevant to children, young people, families, carers, groups and partner agencies. To succeed in this role, you will have a good understanding of safeguarding, relevant legislation, guidance, policy and procedures, and values and principles of FSP.
It will be hugely beneficial for you to have working knowledge of Motivational Interviewing and the cycle of change and their application in social work with children and families.
Your supportive and energised nature will also help you chair meetings and proactively engage with partner agencies.
It is essential that you are able to travel to visit clients and attend meetings over a wide area and at short notice.

About the Role

The Children’s Assessment Service provides an early response to support children and their families who may be in need or at risk of harm without our help. The Children's Assessment Service is a fast-paced environment providing a wealth of professional development opportunities. In this important role, you will be part of a duty rotation of social workers receiving assessments as they are referred by our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. You will also be responsible for leading Section 47 child protection investigations where they are necessary, all with the support of experienced managers. The role of a children's assessment Social Worker is critical in ensuring our children and their families receive thoughtful, evidence-based assessments that help them identify and make changes, and where necessary have a well-developed further plan of intervention to support lasting changes.

Are you an experienced ecologist ready to take on a leadership role within a growing consultancy team? We’re looking for an Associate Ecologist to join our specialist team at Aspect Ecology, focussing on projects from Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire and South Midlands. As such this role is hybrid with mix of working from home and some attendance at the office in Banbury. This is a key role offering the opportunity to combine technical leadership, project management, client engagement, and team development in one of the UK’s most respected ecological consultancies.
In this role, you’ll lead the design and delivery of terrestrial ecology surveys, manage and mentor junior and senior ecologists, and oversee the production of high-quality technical reports. You’ll be responsible for delivering complex projects across sectors such as housing, retail, infrastructure, and renewables. You’ll also play an active role in business development—building client relationships, securing new work, and shaping company strategy alongside the senior management team.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Extensive professional ecological consultancy experience (or similar sector background)
- A relevant degree (and ideally a postgraduate qualification)
- Comprehensive species and habitat identification skills (flora and fauna)
- Proven track record with Phase 1 / UKHab surveys and protected species work, including holding at least one survey licence
- In-depth knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, planning policy and licensing processes
- Excellent report writing, project management and client liaison skills
- Leadership ability, with a passion for mentoring and developing others
- Full CIEEM membership (or eligibility)

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join our growing Aspect Ecology team in Oxfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a wide range of sectors—including housing, renewables, retail and infrastructure—on projects that require your technical knowledge, project management and that will build your client engagement skills.
In this role, you’ll take the lead on complex ecological surveys, including UKHab and protected species work, and prepare high-quality reports including PEAs, EcIAs and BNG assessments. You’ll manage multiple projects of varying sizes, liaise directly with clients, mentor junior staff, and contribute to tenders and licences. You’ll also work closely with colleagues across APEM Group, offering opportunities to broaden your skills and networks.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 3 years of professional ecological consultancy (or similar sector) experience
- A relevant degree (and ideally a postgraduate qualification)
- Strong botanical and faunal ID skills
- Proven experience designing and conducting habitat and protected species surveys
- Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
- Excellent report writing, project management, and client liaison skills
- Full or Associate membership of CIEEM (or eligibility for it)
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (including some overnight stays)
It’d be great if you also have:
- One or more protected species survey licences
- Experience with development licence applications and mitigation design
- Familiarity with GIS (e.g. QGIS)
- Knowledge of NVC or Modular River Survey (MoRPh) methodologies
- A track record in mentoring or leading junior staff

The Role:
Sensor Systems UK is looking for a System Safety Engineer who will be able to affect the safety of the products at Saab, covering their whole life cycle. It is imperative that Saab’s products are safe to use and do not cause harm to people, property or the environment. The safety level of Saab’s systems and products must meet applicable laws, regulations, international standards and best practices. You will analyse and document identified hazards in order to eliminate the hazard or reduce associated risk for a product. This is performed in close cooperation with different engineering areas including system design, software, mechanics and electrical, all based at our Fareham campus, but supporting activity which is spread across the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identification & managements of risks including the development of risk mitigation strategies, & the identification & analysis of hazards.
- Definition of Safety Requirements based on current regulations, analysis & the traceability & verifiability throughout the systems lifecycle.
- Safety system & architectural design to meet safety requirements & safety goals.
- The development of Safety Validation & Verification plans & procedures.
- The preparation of Safety Certification & leading Compliance with regulations.
- The development, implementation & maintenance of Safety Monitoring & Maintenance processes.
- Lead for Incident Investigation & provision of Root Cause Analysis to develop corrective actions.
- Provision of safety systems training & awareness programmes for key stakeholders.
- Act as the lead SME on Safety Working Groups for UK MoD contracts
Your Profile:
As a person you are self-motivated and used to efficiently collaborate with team members, as well as other stakeholders. You will have the ability to understand and analyse complex issues and problems. You are structured and like to take responsibility, and be an excellent communicator.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Specific knowledge & experience of implementing Civilian & Military Safety Standards (Def Stan 00-55 & 00-56, & ISO 45001:2018), & compliance with regulatory standards (including JSP 815 Defence Safety Management System & JSP 376 Defence Acquisition Safety Policy).
- Experience of conducting Systems Safety activities with radar, communications or electronic warfare systems.
- Experience of using risk assessments techniques such as Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), & Hazard & Operability Studies (HAZOP).
- Experience of safety requirements based on regulatory standards & industry best practices.
- Experience of conducting safety testing, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, simulation, & field testing.
- Experience of the development & implementation of safety monitoring systems to detect & respond to safety-critical events.
- Bachelor or higher degree, ideally in an Engineering-linked topic.
- Appreciate working independently & as part of a multi-national team.
- Knowledge in safety standards & regulations.
- Knowledge of safety engineering principles in hazardous materials, & machine & electrical safety.
- Ideally you will hold a relevant safety certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or similar.
As a National Security Vetting clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold National Security Vetting clearance to SC level or have the ability to gain it.

The successful candidate will be able to install and maintain new plant and equipment when required, ensuring that plant faults and defects are swiftly rectified.
Role Summary:
• React to breakdown maintenance requests within the required SLA’s
• Technical awareness of computer room/call centre/trader operations and experience of power, UPS, CPS, distribution, cooling etc
• Repairs to modular UPS systems
• Test and diagnose power quality issues including harmonic distortion using onsite power analysers
• Able to apply a risk focused maintenance approach and operations of plant and systems in data centres/critical environments

• 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations

• Experience working with building management systems including fault finding and operator use
