Cognitive Behavioural Therapist - HMP Highpoint - Suffolk Permanent£43,742

We are seeking a qualified (or soon-to-qualify) Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our team as a High Intensity Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based psychological interventions to adults from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, both in one-to-one and group settings, in line with IAPT guidance.

In this role, you will assess service users’ suitability for interventions and deliver high intensity CBT to support their recovery and wellbeing. Alongside your clinical work, you will provide line management and clinical supervision to a Senior PWP, as well as take on case management, leadership responsibilities, and represent the service in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.

This role requires a flexible, team-focused individual who can adapt to the needs of the organisation, work across sites, and build strong collaborative relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners. At times, you may be the most senior representative on site, making leadership, professionalism, and integrity vital to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high intensity, evidence-based CBT interventions (individual and group).
  • Assess suitability of service users for psychological interventions.
  • Provide line management, clinical supervision, and support to Senior PWPs.
  • Manage cases effectively and contribute to leadership duties, including report writing and MDT meetings.
  • Work flexibly across sites to meet the needs of the service.
  • Build collaborative working relationships with managers, colleagues, and partner agencies.
  • Support the service in achieving agreed outcomes and targets.

Essential Criteria

  • Qualification (or soon to qualify) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
  • Experience working with adults with mental health difficulties, ideally in a primary care or IAPT setting.
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice sector and/or community services.
  • Experience managing and developing staff, including providing line management and clinical supervision.
  • Demonstrated competence as a psychological therapy practitioner (as outlined in Roth & Pilling 2007).
  • Strong organisational and workload management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Understanding of the need for evidence-based interventions (low and high intensity).
  • Ability to reflect on and develop own practice.
  • Flexibility to meet service needs, including working across different sites.
  • Ability to apply training effectively into practice.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out both preventative and planned maintenance, both electrically & mechanically
  • Working on high-speed production, packaging and automated machinery
  • Dealing with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, sensors, electrical isolation, inverters, pneumatics, servo drives, control panels, pumps, compressors, steam & boiler systems
  • PLC - electrical fault finding on Siemens & Allen Bradley
  • SCADA Systems - electrical fault finding
  • Continuous improvement projects and new machinery installations and modification work

  • Be able to work mechanically on various pipework, fabrication & fault finding

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally be a multi-skilled engineer

  • Must have worked in high-speed production - food, FMCG manufacturing environments
  • Completed a time-served apprenticeship
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an engineer in manufacturing
  • Beneficial to have City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Test & Inspection
  • PLC & SCADA Systems - electrical fault finding
  • Beneficial to have 17th or 18th Edition Electrical
  • Strong team player with a continuous improvement approach

You will be responsible for the day to day running of plot sale transactions for allocated regional Taylor Wimpey Business Units. Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Conveyancing Process Management: Oversee the entire sale process from initiating draft contract packs to handling enquiries, exchanging contracts, meeting deadlines, and ensuring successful completion of new home sales.
  • Compliance and Knowledge: Stay updated on relevant developments, home ownership schemes (e.g., Home Stepper, First Homes), sales incentive schemes (e.g., Deposit Unlock, Deposit Top Up, Part Exchange), and disposal of leasehold and freehold affordable housing.
  • Due Diligence and Compliance: Conduct purchaser due diligence, address Anti-Money Laundering concerns, including 
  • source of funds, and manage post-completion tasks such as delivering notices to Landlords/Management Companies.

  • Previous experience in a plot sales environment OR residential conveyancing practice along with  a detailed understanding of the residential property environment and having a minimum of three years relevant experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the conveyancing processes is essential

  • Experience in handling high volume work and the ability to remain calm and collected

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is important

  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels and to analyse complex legal issues quickly and decisively

Purpose

· To deliver a great experience for your customers across Travel Money and other services, putting customers before task every time

· Champion new ways of working within stores through an open mindset and positive attitude

· Complete tasks and processes that deliver ‘best in town’ standards

· Serve and sell across all Travel Money and other service channels brilliantly well

· Be the voice of our customer to help us continually improve

Key Accountabilities

· Demonstrate a genuine interest in your customers and build good relationships

· Serve our customers efficiently and brilliantly well

· Deliver ‘best in town’ standards through presentation standards, availability and keeping the store clean and tidy

· Skilled to utilise all digital tools and communication channels to do the job

· Share customer and colleague feedback to help us do things better

· Share Travel Money knowledge and experience with colleagues to support others in building skill and confidence

· Own your own learning & development and proactively access digital learning solutions

· Know the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions & selling opportunities

· Have great product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services help our customers

· Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations

· Understand the store priorities and the part you play

· Complete all Travel Money tasks with pace, accuracy and in line with procedures

· Follow safe, legal and financial crime working practices
