You’ll need to be a confident user of IT, your work is shared via an iPad and you’ll need to control & manage your van stock electronically.

At East Boro, our Domiciliary Care and Support Team works closely with adults to help them live as independently as possible in their own homes.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide compassionate care and practical assistance that empowers people to live life to the fullest. Your support will cover a range of daily living tasks, including:
Medication support
Shopping and healthy meal preparation
Cleaning and maintaining a safe home environment
Assistance with correspondence or job applications
Encouraging fun activities, including day trips and social events
You’ll also provide personal care where needed, such as:
Assisting with washing, bathing, and hair/oral care
Helping with dressing, toileting, and safe waste disposal
Supporting meal preparation and eating/drinking
Assisting with mobility, transfers, or hoisting

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Compassionate, patient, and reliable
Able to communicate well with colleagues and customers
Capable of basic literacy and numeracy tasks
Ideally experienced in a caring role (though training is provided)
You will also need to:
Pass a DBS check (or be on the update service)
Verify your right to work in the UK
It’s a bonus if you have experience working with adults with physical, learning, or mental health disabilities and providing personal care.
