Overall Purpose of the Role
To deliver efficient and effective maintenance and installation of new Windows/Doors and general Fabric Lifecyle works to the Bridlington PFI Contract to ensure that assets/buildings are replaced and maintained. To attend reactive repairs, rectify and feedback works that have been carried out.
Key Accountabilities
- Promoting a safety culture and ensuring you are aware of and comply with all client and company health & safety procedures and standards at all times.
- Following safe working practices in carrying out the required duties and ensuring that instructions specified by technical consultants, contractors and manufacturers are adhered to.
- Carrying out specification building, measuring and developing of scope of products to be installed.
- Ensuring materials ordered are correct in size and specification prior to being installed
- Installing products to ensure that works are completed to the highest of standards, signed off and meet the output specification and requirements of the Lifecycle Project Requirements
- Undertaking maintenance duties for which competence has been determined
- Carrying out other reasonable requests made by your Line Manager including working in areas other than those to which you are accustomed
About you
- Fabric competencies
- Window and Door Installation experience
- Proven experience in DIY/practical skills
- Ability to undertake general maintenance and repairs.
- Good spoken English and basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage tasks to deal with the day to day demanding environment
- High standards of cleanliness and well-presented
- Health & Safety – Follows the right procedures & challenges unsafe behaviour
- Can Do – Is flexible & takes initiative
- Integrity – Respects colleagues & customers
