We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (SCPHN – Health Visitors) to join our dedicated Warwickshire 0–19 team . In this rewarding role, you will lead and deliver a high-quality, proactive service focused on the Healthy Child Programme , working to reduce health inequalities , safeguard children , and improve outcomes across the community.

Main Responsibility- Public health lead for the health visiting skill mixed team within the defined population/locality area. Delivering the Universal Partnership Plus reach of the Healthy Child Programme, assessing health needs and identifying and implementing appropriate interventions for a personalised or targeted response utilising the skills of and delegating to the skill mix team in an outcome-focused context.
- To take responsibility for the outcomes of the children on a child protection plan within the defined population and collaborate with key partners to address identified public health needs.
- Develop and foster effective professional relationships and networks with families and other key partners.
- Provide families and children on a child protection plan with a service that promotes their physical, mental, emotional health and wellbeing. This will include partnership working with other agencies.
- To promote health and wellbeing through the universal reach of the healthy child programme and signposting. Referring/introducing to partner agencies as required.
The ideal candidate will -
- Hold a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) qualification with a focus on Health Visiting . 
- Has current NMC registration on the third part of the register (Specialist Community Public Health Nurse). 
- Proven experience of leading and working within health visiting teams , supporting colleagues and contributing to effective team functioning. 
- Demonstrated experience in leading interventions aimed at improving outcomes for children and families, with a strong understanding of safeguarding practices and procedures. 
- Holds a recognised qualification in supervising or assessing nurse learners (e.g. Practice Assessor or Practice Supervisor), with a commitment to supporting education and professional development within the team. 
 
Other requirements: Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car insured for business use

- To assist the QA Supervisor in carrying out full investigations on specifications (micro and nutritional), complaints and incidents. Investigations may take the form of sampling, process reviews, traceability, or audits.
- To support NPD trials and product launches, assisting in micro testing and product life assessment to ensure products are manufactured to the correct standard as necessary.
- Providing technical support and advice to the factory team in the event of customer visit or audit.
- Coordination of day to day activities to deliver improvement of Technical KPIs
- To operate in a safe working manner and support the site/business on continuous improvement relating to health, safety, and the environment.
What we're looking for:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following qualifications and skills:
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent standard with numeracy and literacy skill
- Able to work with basic computer programmes such as Microsoft Office applications
- Holds a Health and Safety level two and a food hygiene level two qualification
- CCP training including HACCP principles for Manufacturing Unit
- Experience and understanding of internal audit processes
- Has an understanding of allergen awareness and the associated risk
- Has a knowledge of GMP techniques
- Understands non-conformance reporting techniques
- Microbiological awareness - understanding of basic of food safety
