The role:    

We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at Bestwood Village School based in Nottingham. The postholder will work collaboratively with both the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. Working collaboratively with the team, the postholder will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our students who may present with complex profiles of need as a result of autism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.  Meeting the needs of EHCP plans will be a primary focus in this role, target led, via the OFG ‘all’, ‘group’ and ‘individual’ clinical ways of working, embedded into our clinical practice. They will also be responsible for coordinating the line management of the members of the onsite clinical team and leading on the service development of the clinical school-based service, alongside the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

Essential Criteria:  

  • Degree qualification in specific discipline plus additional experience in leadership and management
  • Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. BPS
  • Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
  • Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
  • Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service

Beacon Lodge is a mental health step down unit that supports people to transition from acute mental health wards back into the community. Passionate about people, you’ll enjoy the scope and support individuals to gain the skills to live independently. Role Responsibility

Raising the bar for person–centred care, you’ll provide a range of recovery focused support through key working sessions and group work. People’s lives will be truly changed by you as you enable and prepare them to gain new skills and help them find ways to promote their long term recovery.

As a Recovery Worker, you’ll work with individuals on their recovery, devising individually tailored support and risk management plans and ensuring effective discharge planning. Ultimately, you’ll play a vital role in helping them to gain skills and coping strategies, all while encouraging positive change and independence.

The role requires you to work on a 24-hour rolling rota consisting of 12 hour day and waking night shifts including alternate weekends.

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally with experience in the mental health sector, it’s essential that you have a good understanding of the recovery model, together with a solution–focused attitude and a person–centred approach. You’ll be equally comfortable getting things done on your own initiative and as part of a team, and have no problems working in a fast–paced environment and adapting to challenging situations.

About our Nursery 
Busy Bees Nottingham Edwalton is rated "Good" by Ofsted and has a capacity of 88 children. Our warm and friendly daycare nursery features dedicated rooms for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, providing a stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop at their own pace.Conveniently situated about five miles south of central Nottingham, the nursery is easily accessible for parents traveling from Ruddington, Tollerton, Plumtree, and Bradmore. The newly built facility is located within the retail park on Landmere Lane, just off Wheatcroft Island on the A52 at Edwalton, near Notcutts Garden Centre.In addition to providing excellent care, our Busy Bees nursery in Edwalton is designed with the planet in mind, showcasing several environmental features. At the entrance, you'll find a large internal living wall, allowing our children to participate in its care while learning about the environment. Our preschool room includes internal living plant frames, and the nursery is equipped with LED lighting, bike storage, and an EV charging point, making it a truly eco-friendly childcare setting. Free parking is available for staff.

Role Responsibilities:

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:

  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
  • Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
Required Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
  • Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
