About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled SEND Teacher to teach to a high standard and ensure all pupils have access to a broad and balanced curriculum. This role is essential to the continued development of our subject pathways and the delivery of outstanding outcomes for our learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach to a high standard across a range of subjects to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
- Lead on the development of schemes of learning for specific curriculum areas.
- Monitor pupil progress, identify underachievement, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Liaise with other OFG schools to ensure curriculum alignment and innovation.
- Maintain and develop curriculum area plans and stay informed on relevant changes.
- Deliver staff training to support pedagogical development within your subject specialism.
- Liaise with the exams officer to ensure accurate qualification entries.
- Support the development of whole-school curriculum mapping and differentiated teaching.
- Collaborate with SLT and therapy teams to support learners with complex needs.
- Ensure consistency in teaching, learning, assessment, and feedback across all pathways.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE or equivalent).
- Experience teaching across Key Stages 2–5.
- Experience working within a SEND setting.
- A passion for inclusive education and supporting young people with complex needs.

- ACA and/or CTA (or qualified by experience)
