The role:    

We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at Fieldstone School based in Devon. The postholder will work collaboratively with both the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. Working collaboratively with the team, the postholder will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our students who may present with complex profiles of need as a result of autism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.  Meeting the needs of EHCP plans will be a primary focus in this role, target led, via the OFG ‘all’, ‘group’ and ‘individual’ clinical ways of working, embedded into our clinical practice. They will also be responsible for coordinating the line management of the members of the onsite clinical team and leading on the service development of the clinical school-based service, alongside the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

Essential Criteria:   

  • Degree or Masters in Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychotherapy or Doctorate in Psychology
  • Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. BPS
  • Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
  • Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
  • Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service
  • Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the       designated specialty preferred
  • Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle

As an Early Years Educator , you will deliver an engaging and diverse activity programme while helping to provide a safe, supportive, and caring environment. About You

Key responsibilities will include maintaining and following all Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times. You should be proactive in activity planning, conducting child observations, and updating development records on a regular basis. It is essential to maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to children, their families, and the business. Additionally, you will support the day-to-day care and routines of the children. 

Normal working hours are 8.15 AM to 5.45 PM.
This role is based on a five-day working pattern. Start and finish times may vary depending on shift patterns or operational needs. 


Skills & Experience

- Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare , with a good knowledge of the EYFS
-
Holding a Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 certificate is an advantage
- Hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate is an advantage
- Have good communication skills
- Demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Be confident in working independently when required, while also being a strong team player
- Have the ability to relate to a wide range of people
