As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Design & Food Technology Teacher to join our amazing team at Baston House School in Bromley.

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and dynamic teacher to bring innovative and exciting learning opportunities to life. You will provide a varied and high-quality education for our students, focusing primarily on practical and technical skills, in line with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Although you may have a particular specialism, this role would also suit someone eager to continue developing their own skills alongside our pupils — for example, in smart materials, CAD/CAM, graphics, textiles, resistant materials, electronics, photography, or animation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, practical lessons that support student development across a range of technical and creative subjects.
• Maintain vigilance with respect to Health and Safety, promptly reporting or addressing hazards to minimise risk.
• Operate at all times in line with safeguarding, child protection, behaviour, and related policies.
• Report issues or incidents relating to staff and students promptly to the relevant line manager.
• Participate in training, supervision, and annual reviews, taking responsibility for your own professional development.

We are seeking a passionate and creative Lifeskills Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality education specifically for pupils diagnosed with Autism (ASC), helping them develop practical skills, independence, and confidence in a supportive and structured setting.

You will plan and deliver a curriculum that combines functional academics, vocational learning, and personal development, tailored to the sensory, communication, and social needs of autistic learners. Lessons may include independent living, money management, communication, health and wellbeing, community engagement, and career preparation.

You will collaborate closely with therapists, support staff, and families to ensure each pupil has access to personalised, meaningful learning opportunities that address their individual strengths and challenges. Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) who:

• Has experience or a strong interest in working with pupils diagnosed with Autism (ASC)
• Can design and deliver engaging, structured lessons that meet the specific communication, sensory, and social needs of autistic learners
• Is passionate about developing functional skills and preparing pupils for independence and future success
• Can differentiate the curriculum to ensure access and engagement for pupils with a range of abilities and learning profiles
• Is empathetic, patient, and collaborative, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support each pupil’s holistic development
• Values celebrating progress and achievements, no matter how small, and fosters a nurturing, inclusive learning environment

• Reporting to the Head of Procurement for Content Protection and IoT, you will support the team and help to deliver local and group wide deals across our key markets (USA, UK, Italy and Germany). You will also support other leaders within the Consumer Product and Networks team, in line with the Enterprise Procurement operating model.
• Contribute to the Procurement strategy for the team's spend categories, which include customer premise equipment, content protection technologies and IoT devices.
• Own and lead data gathering and analytics for the team on spend information, contract data, market analysis and other required data and reports.
• Own a pipeline of tactical deals in Content Protection and IoT and support a range of strategic initiatives within the wider category.
• Build and maintain internal partner relationships, with regular communication, ensuring clear understanding and alignment between their strategic technology plans and Procurement's direction.
• Be able to produce deal summaries, create/deliver quality presentations and reports on a regular basis at Director-level, demonstrating an ability to clearly communicate financial and non-financial benefits to stakeholders.
• Provide strategic commercial input to a broad range of initiatives, including company-wide cost-saving programmes.
• Understand the external factors and key challenges faced in the Media industry and use this knowledge to drive innovation and challenge current business processes.

• Proven Procurement experience specifically including the development of category plans, sourcing tools/techniques and data analysis expertise.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen to and understand the needs of our stakeholders whilst having the confidence to challenge them when necessary/appropriate.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of running sourcing activities, including RFPs, contract management, large scale contract renewals, stakeholder management.
• Demonstrable understanding of key contract terms such as liabilities, indemnities, intellectual property rights, termination rights etc.
• Good understanding of Sky/Comcast, our platforms and products, and the wider context within which our business operates.
• Experience of working in an analyst role and within a procurement team.
• Experience in a global / pan-European function and a clear understanding of the challenges this can present.
