Job Description

How would you like to get paid for five days, but only work four?

At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance — and we’re putting wellbeing first.

That’s why we’re proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full-time pay.

Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW — and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. So, whether it’s already in place or just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to join #teamOFG.

Job Title:   SEN Teacher

Location:   Bower Lodge School, Dibden, Southampton, SO45 5TD

Salary:       Up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)

Hours:       37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 08:30 - 16:30

Contract:  Permanent, Term Time only

Start:         January 2026

UK Applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.

Bower Lodge School, part of the Options Autism, is seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will deliver engaging, personalised learning for pupils with complex SEN and ASC needs, fostering confidence, creativity, and independence in every learner.

We are looking for a teacher who values hands-on teaching over paperwork, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is committed to empowering young people to reach their full potential. You will be part of a school that prioritises safeguarding, inclusion, and pupil voice at every level.

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver creative, individualised learning to pupils with complex SEN and ASC needs, ensuring every child is supported to thrive both academically and emotionally.
