The role we are offering you

You will work alongside our client partners, providing expert Synthetic Flight instruction. In addition, some classroom based instruction will be required, and you will be responsible for the upkeep of accurate and concise trainee records. You will also get to work with state of the art synthetic training equipment and the very latest aircraft technologies.

Our ideal candidate has

  • Held a UK, EASA or ICAO equivalent licence

  • 1500 hours or more total multi-pilot time

  • A keen eye for detail in training delivery - you must be willing to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and requirements

  • Ability to tailor training sessions to the needs of a diverse customer base

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Is passionate about teaching pupils with SEN, particularly autism and complex needs
  • Brings creativity, patience, and dedication to the classroom
  • Communicates clearly and compassionately with pupils, families, and professionals
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a committed and caring team

About Us

Hambrook School is in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. We opened in September 2023 and secured an Ofsted ‘Good’ rating in just 7 short months!

We help pupils excel by providing a structured, nurturing approach, alongside a broad, balanced, engaging and extraordinarily rich curriculum.

All our pupils have a diagnosis of Autism and an EHCP. We have been inundated with requests of places from Sussex and Surrey Local Authorities and therefore need additional staff to impact the lives of more pupils. We are therefore looking for the perfect person to join us for this next stage of our journey.

We offer bespoke personalised care that allows each pupil's needs to be addressed, and their capabilities fully realised. We offer our pupils a flexible, safe and nurturing environment for them to develop and grow.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Buffet Department based in Bognor Regis.  

Reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and support in leading a team of up to 40. Making our guests smile is at the heart of our values, and you will ensure this happens consistently by ensuring that guests remain the central focus of all operational decisions. This will include resource planning, recruitment and selection, ensuring that we have the very best team in place to deliver an amazing service. 

You will be passionate about exceptional experience and will monitor this regularly to develop action plans in your venue with a focus on continuous improvement. Financial performance will play an important part in your role, and you will deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning, cooking to standards and specification. You will also support in the accountability of food hygiene standards and health and safety, inline with legislation and company policies. 

You will be a role model for the Butlin’s unique way of working, ensuring training schedules and performance development plans are in place for your team and inspiring them to deliver a great experience to guests every time. We truly believe that variety is the spice of life and in this role you’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop the skills of a team in our main buffet restaurant serving our guests who have booked a half-board dining package.


About You

We are looking for individuals with experience in a similar level role. We would also love to hear from you if you're looking to step up to your next role in the kitchen.

You will need to be hard working and determined, a reliable person who likes to get things done and who will look for better ways for the team to consistently deliver our brand standards.

We are looking for candidates who are energetic and enthusiastic, high spirited and fun loving and who will understand their role and the value they can add to the guest experience by unleashing the potential of the team.

You should have also passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to continually deliver high standards in a fast paced and busy kitchen environment.

As with any chef role at this level, you will also be responsible for managing margins and controlling costs and all things health, safety and hygiene related.

About the Roles

We’re looking for a Chef De Partie to join the Butlin's team based in Bognor Regis.

We truly believe that variety is the spice of life and in this role you’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop the skills of our team in one of our fantastic buffet restaurants.

A Butlin’s resort is the home of getting stuck in and no trip to the seaside would be complete without great food and we offer this to every guest, every time in our restaurant.


Working as a chef at Butlin’s gives you the opportunity to provide an amazing experience to our guests, wherever they choose to dine on our resorts. We offer a wide range of food varieties with menus designed to excite our guests. 

As a Chef de Partie, your responsibilities in this role will be a key factor in our kitchens. You will be support the Junior Kitchen Manager and oversee the daily operation in your own section, ensuring efficiency and compliance with food safety policies.
 
You will also maintain a clean and organised workstation, always adhering the health and safety regulations demonstrating these responsibilities as a behaviour standard to the Commis Chefs you will lead, train and mentor with guidance and support as needed. 

This is a 35 hour role, working 5 days over 7 including weekends, paid fortnightly. Breakfast shifts are 4am - 12pm, Dinner shifts are 11am - 7.30pm. Live in accommodation may be available if over 18 and relocating to the area.

You’ll work alongside other talented chefs and industry experts with access to a wide range of ingredients and varied menus.

Working a guaranteed 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 and a potential to work paid overtime too. A wide range of shifts available between 7am starts up to 12midnight allowing flexibility for you. Live in accommodation may be available for those relocating to the area.

For our Commis Chef position the one thing we look for consistently is a passion for delighting our guests and a fantastic ‘get stuck in’ attitude.
