Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator in Irvine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of operations, ensuring safety, and supporting shipping and receiving tasks.
Valid counterbalance license and at leas 1 years experience operating forklift required for this position.
Duties
Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse and loading areas.
Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using the Warehouse Management System.
Perform routine checks on forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipment contents against documentation.
Conduct basic maths calculations for inventory management and order fulfilment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required by operational demands.
Requirements
Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is essential.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
Strong mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout shifts.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory processes.

Hour of Work
Monday to Friday 8am-4pm for the first 4 weeks and after that it goes to shift rotation:
1 week Monday to Friday 6am-2pm
1 week Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm
1 week Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6am
Pay:
12.88 for basic hours worked
16.10 for any hours worked over 37,5 during the week
19.32 for any overtime worked on Saturday
25.76 for any overtime worked on Sunday
